Absolutely stunning smell but ...
I am usually very hard to impress especially when it comes to Purfumes. I usually stick to La Vie Est Belle but decided to see what else I can fall in love with. This smell is out of this world but.... It just doesn't last long :( . Floral yet woody and also fruity. I had so many compliments today (first time spraying) but then the smell fell quite quickly. This makes me quite sad as it has such an amazing smell

Disappointed with suboptimal packaging
I bought this Eau de parfum because I know and love other fragrances from Mauboussin. The product was sold as new, but arrived in an unsealed box which means it could have been tampered with. This is below the standards I would expect from a seller on Amazon.Otherwise, my first impression of the scent itself is great - definitely more musky/oriental than fruity, with good longevity in a satisfyingly heavy bottle. And the value for money is remarkable too

Previously opened, no seals, arrived with box damaged and bottle loose inside.
Was supposed to be a birthday gift for my wife. Has clearly been opened previously and used. The side of the box was split, there are no security seals and it wasn't cellophane wrapped so it's obviously been returned once before. The bottle was rattling around loose inside the box, and the inside has taken some damage. The bottle is actually a firm fit in the base when you actually take the trouble to fit it. On the plus side, it smells nice.
