The CD was no use since I did not have a CD drive. When the unit arrived, I tested it and it failed to operate correctly. I swapped it with an older sewell serial usb cable and it operated correctly. But my laptop doesn't have a disk drive and there was no web address to go get the drivers so I had to use another computer.
