I am a frequent camper and find this product super handy for many things. It has no phosphates, etc. so completely biodegradable and thus friendly in the backcountry (Leave No Trace wise). 1) Wash hands after going to the "bathroom" (vs. just using Purell) 2) Use it to wash pots after cooking 3) When extremely dirty, can take a sponge bath 4) If cooking over a fire, put a light coat on the outside of pot so it is easier to clean after cooking Remember that despite having no phosphates, etc., do not use this directly in water sources. Dispose of at least 200 feet from water to comply with Leave No Trace principles.

We do a lot of camping, but like to stay clean out there. This camp soap allows us to use a solar shower, wash dishes, hands, etc without harming the environment. A little goes a long way too. I highly recommend this product.

This soap can be used to wash everything from your body and hair to dishes, etc. It does not have a strong fragrance which is a plus. One unpleasant part of camping for me is wet slimy bar soap. This solves that. I have been using this product for about 3 years. The container also floats if you bathe in a creek.

I specifically use this soap for fishing, after I get done putting on my waders, unloading the boat, messing with the rope, etc. I wash my hands with this soap and it does make a difference, one day I wasn't catching much fish like my brother was and he asked "did you wash your hands"? I said "no, I forgot", as soon as I did and I put a fresh worm on I started catching fish, I don't think it was a coincidence, so please keep making this soap, I would appreciate it and so will the other fisherman that find out this secret.

I used this on the West Highland Way to wash my dishes, clothes even myself. It has a nice pleasant smell and worked great on anything I washed. Will use it again on the Great Glen Way.

We've been using Coghlan's Camp Soap for many years now, primarily to wash dishes while camping. Works great in cold or warm water, leaves dishes clean after rinsing and doesn't leave a trace when properly disposed of. There are a lot of biodegradeable camp soaps out there, but I like to buy Coghlan's as it is a family company that treats its employees well.

Lachen musste ich schon, als ich die Produktbeschreibung auf der Verpackung gelesen habe: "usable for hands, face, hair, dishes, clothing, tents..." und das alles mit einer voll biologisch abbaubaren Seife, aber bisher bin ich überzeugt. Wie gut meine (zugegeben etwas sensible) Haut sich mit dieser Seife verträgt wird der Langzeittest zeigen, ansonsten ein wirklich gutes Produkt zu einem einfach unschlagbaren Preis!
