Social Light Excalibur Black & Rose Candle Lighter Review: Great! - Had this for nearly a year now. Still works perfectly. I'm actually going to order another one right now. Review: Beautiful and works like a charm -- but most parts are plastic - My wife loves candles. She was constantly going through disposable lighters. I decided there had to be something better and found these. I got her two for Christmas: The Excalibur Black & Rose model and Manhattan with Swarovski Crystals model. They are identical except for the metal color (rose vs chrome) and the crystal inlays in the Manhattan's handle. They are beautiful (definitely an improvement over blue disposables!) and so far work great. However, except for the metal lighting tube and the black rubber grip all of the other parts are plastic -- including the safety and lighting buttons. I'm not sure how they'll hold-up over time. I used the "5X Power Butane" sold by desertcart and am very satisfied. The lighters were easy to fill (no adapters necessary) and most importantly I have plenty of butane to refill them for months to come! Four stars primarily because I had hoped at least the lighting mechanism and buttons would be metal. *** Follow-up 1/1/2015: Had these lighters for a year now. Still working great. After lighting candles almost daily and a few fill-ups of butane, still look and work like new. If treated with care, should last years.

Disappointed
I got a couple of these. So beautiful. But it always took 3-4 tries to get it to light and when I finally had to fill them, it was difficult because the premium Butane fuel I got, its tip didn't seem to fit all the way in and fuel splashed all over the place. Then I got some Vector Quintuple on Amazon and I was able to fill them. Still don't light the first time.
