Buzz-be-gone
If you have buzzing speakers and are thinking 'it cannot be this easy to get rid of the buzz' I am here to tell you that yes, indeed it is that easy. Isolating audio equipment to this device was night and day for my setup, and I'm using cheapo cables to boot. This is an excellent device, highly recommended!

fixed my noise issue
I wish I had come across this earlier. I've been chasing electrical noise issues in my home studio for a while and someone recommended this. I bought two and they worked great! Nearly all the noise is gone now, my equipment is nice a quiet even at full volumes. Solid build and cable is perfect length for my setup.

It worked!
I have an Uplift standing desk and a Harman Kardon SoundSticks 4. Every time I would use the motor, the speakers would crackle. I plugged the desk into this power conditioner instead and it completely cleared up the noise. The only note I have is that if I plug the speakers and desk both into the power conditioner, the crackling is reduced but only eliminated when the speakers are plugged into another power strip upstream from the power conditioner, so the EMI reduction effect does not seem as strong between different outlets on the strip as between the strip and the power source.

Worth the price
Absolutely can't beat the price for a metal encased power strip. The cord it thick and long. I would give it 5 stars but I can't because the outlets themselves seem a little cheap. without breaking it open I can't vouch for the wiring but for $10 it will do what it says I suppose.

A quality Furman power conditioner
Having a power conditioner is a must have when you are working with multiple audio devices. When using this, the power to your audio gear is evenly distributed with no fluctuations, which helps to reduce hum and helps to protect your gear.Pros:-This strip has a study, metal case which gives it the ability to resist most wear and tear, especially for live stage applications. In addition, you can switch from EMI (short range interference caused by high frequency emissions within the device itself), and RFI (longer wavelength interference from external sources), and general surge protection. It has a 15 foot power cord which virtually eliminates the need for extension cords. This unit's power cable can easily reach across a small to medium sized stage.Cons:-None that I can seeIf you switch from a a regular power strip to a power conditioner, you will notice a big difference in the quality of your sound and reduction in unwanted hum and frequencies. If you are a musician, a Furman Power Conditioner is a must have.

Affordable Audiophile Upgrade
I've been building a nice home theater system and a 2-channel listening room for the past couple of years, and recently started replacing all of the cheaper/generic interconnects I was using with much better quality cables. There was a very subtle improvement in sound quality noticable afterwards, nothing too exciting, but I wasn't expecting a huge difference anyway. The last components I ever really considered upgrading was the power strips. Its embarrassing for me to admit now, but up until that point I was using cheap $10 big box store plastic units that had to be over 10 years old.Would I hear a noticable improvement in sound just by replacing the power strips? Again, I wasn't expecting much, just like when I upgraded the cables, but I knew what I was using was junk anyway, so I decided to try the Furmans and find out.Well then. The improvement in audio quality after swapping in the Furmans was just undeniable, so much so that it gave me that audiophile "wow, I like THAT" sensation immediately. Movies, dialog and music suddenly had more clarity, depth, dynamics, detail and punch. It's like a light veil had been lifted off of the speakers and the sound became more alive and "honest".Are there better power conditioners out there? I have no doubts there are, but to get this level of improvement in audio quality for only $25, the Furman is an easy 5 stars for me. Some reviewers say this isn't a power conditioner, but it says right on the box that it does feature basic level active noise reduction. I didn't buy this because I had a noise issue though, I bought this because it was recommended in the audiophile community for those who wanted a quality power conditioner but didn't have the budget for something more expensive. If you are already using a good quality power strip or conditioner, I'm assuming that you would not notice much of a difference, if any. However, if you were like me and was using junk, you might enjoy what you hear after plugging everything into the Furman.Only complaint? Like others mentioned, 15ft of cord seems to be a little much considering the size of the conditioner itself. Awesome if you need the extra length, but if you don't the extra bulk is something to consider. That said, I'd much rather have too long of a cord than too short any day. I highly recommend this power conditioner, don't let the cord length stop you from buying.
