Of course it doesn’t taste like sugar! Stevia has a different flavor than sugar. Is it bad? No. Is it different than sugar? Yes. Sugar has its own flavor, which would seem weird to us if we started out with Stevia and were switching to sugar. But don’t let the flavor variance phase you, as it takes time to get used to it. What I’d recommend from personal experience, is don’t aim for ‘very sweet’, aim for ‘slightly sweet’ and as you get accustomed to the flavor, adjust accordingly. As far as Stevia products go, this is the best I’ve tried, both in purity and flavor - which is a vast improvement over the mixed/blended products out there in my opinion. It’s a little messy until you get used to dealing with it (very much like powdered sugar in consistency). The scoop is the best way to dole it out, in my opinion, but I’d really like a longer handle and a place to store it that isn’t inside the container. Finding the scoop and getting it out is a messy proposition that wastes product and there is no external means of attaching the scoop so that it doesn’t wander away. My solution for this was to tape it to the outside of the container with a section in the center of the tape where I covered the adhesive (creating a simple loop that holds the scoop securely). The sprinkle top is just ok, it’s still messy but now it’s harder to tell how much you are using - this is because of how fine the product is and the fact that you can’t see every particle that lands in your food or drink (not to mention how much becomes airborne while employing this method - if breathing in sweet air is your goal, this is an excellent method to use). The other item to note is that this product has a tendency to clump-up when used. Plan to break it up with a spoon while you mix, especially if the food or drink is cold. Other brands have ‘solved’ this problem by adding silicone. I’ll let you decide if that’s the solution for you. Excellent product…wish it was less expensive…but I’m cheap and that’s a problem I struggle with. Still…it’s worth the money, even for me. I’d highly recommend trying this out.

Good taste good value as you only need a little. Im happy with this brand! UPDATE!!!! this is good! and better tasting than other stevias ive tried ! it is more pure the trick is to just sprinkle a little in coffee or drinks etc! it has a shaker top so very handy to control the amount and flavor it really has a pleasant sweetness like sugar just use very little and its perfect!!!

I have been buying this stevia for a long time and it is my favorite sweetener. I use it daily in my coffee, tea, and other drinks. It has a great taste without the bitter aftertaste that some other brands have. I appreciate the quality and consistency, and I will continue purchasing it. Highly recommended!

Careful when opening the jar, there is a mini spoon buried in the stevia powder. The spoon is very small because the stevia powder is very pure indeed. The brand I was previously using had more volume due to an additive. So level the powder carefully with a knife tip before dropping it in your drink. The taste is fine in my hibiscus tea but gives a bitter, unpleasant taste in coffee.

What a relief it was to find a Stevia sweetener without any additives. The older I get the more I pay attention to what’s going into me and my husband’s diet so when I saw this all natural sugar substitute, I was greatly relieved. There’s absolutely nothing but stevia leaf in it, and it tastes good, not like chemicals, absolutely natural. Last few doctors visits, my blood sugar has been high so I appreciate that this has many health benefits. I haven’t had any side effects like upset stomach and it’s nice not to have a sugar crash like with caned sugar. I think the price is a bit high but I have to keep in mind that in this little container (0.9 ounces) is supposedly 1,000 servings and even though I don’t think that likely, it is going to last awhile. Also, all stevia and monk fruit sweeteners are expensive, I guess we have to keep in mind that we’re investing in our health. What I don’t like about this container is the lid/pouring cap with all its holes. I drink cold tea in a water bottle so the substitute sugar gets everywhere. I’m going to see if they have a different container or pour it into one of mine. Overall, I think it’s a quality product and I would recommend it.

BUYER BEWARE: As of time of writing (17/08/2025) this product listing states "6 pack" when in fact it is ONE SINGLE pack for £22.07. As for the actual product itself, I've yet to use the provided measuring spoon or the shaker grate. Even just a tiny residual amount scraped off the seal into my mug was enough to make my tea very sweet. I wouldn't call the taste bitter at all and would say there are a few liquorice or molasses notes in there. I am going to try a different product next, which is 100% reb M extracted from the stevia plant, rather than this blend of reb A, reb D, and reb M. As reb M is supposed to be more sweet and not bitter at all.

It is what it is. It's pure stevia and even a little bit packs a punch. 1 scoop is more than enough to sweeten almost any drink. Be sure to test it out in small doses if you are considering this product. Overall has been great value for money and does the job well.

Product arrived in good time. It seems to be pure Stevia - has the standard after-taste (some people might not like it - I don't mind it). A lot of stevia products contain erythritol - this doesn't. Some stevia products are bulked up with polydextrose or something similar to make it spoon for spoon with sugar - this doesn't. It comes with a micro scoop as it is significantly sweet than sugar - it is not spoon for spoon. This means that even though the container is small, it should last a long time as only a small amounts will be needed for cooking etc.
