Please keep in mind I wouldn’t recommend this cage for hamsters or gerbils, and it would maybe be alright for one male mouse. Mine is used as an add-on cage/hospital cage. It makes a great carrier as well. I happened to cut some of the wires to allow a tube to fit through, then sealed it off so it was safe and secure. Definitely worth the price, there’s cute little details and it’s pretty sturdy. The bars came a little bent but they hold their shape well when bent back into place so it was an easy fix. The wheel is super quiet and is easy for even babies to run on. A bit on the smaller side so I wouldn’t plan on having this as your only wheel. Totally worth the cost, but would consider getting the medium or large if you intend to use it as a main cage for mice only. Still not appropriate for hamsters or gerbils. Would still be a great cage to have on hand in case of emergency.

I really like the cage it was so easy to built my mouse loves it just in the sides its wide he got out like to times but i still like it i think when he gets a lil bigger he wont fit threw it so he well be fine on the last photo it shows the gap im talking about but other wise pretty cute cage for the price he has lots of space

Our hamster loves it.It's small, portable but I think it's only big enough for one or two small hamsters.

I bought this as a gift for a coworker. I was told that its so small its hard to clean. A piece of the mouse hut broke when we were assembling it because the directions weren't very clear, and I'm not sure its made all that well. The wheel had to be replaced because it makes too much noise, and the hamster was keeping everyone up at night. Turns out they just threw it away and bought a whole new set up. I was bummed that I wasted the money.

Great little hospital cage for a budgie, wish I could have bought it without all the hamster stuff. This company has a small transport cage but I wouldn't use it for a semi long term hospital. Regardless awesome products all the way around. I love the durability and the locking mechanics. Super quick to clean. Little Skye here has been sick. Vet wanted her separated from the flock. This is perfect to give her time to heal and still room to move around while she rests and the medicine sets in. Certainly not a livable cage for this bird but perfect for recovery.

The cage itself is not bad quality. It is very cute actually. But after doing research and speaking to vets I learned this cage size is not appropriate for any hamster, even dwarf breeds. Hamsters are also ground dwelling animals that are not great climbers, so a multiple level habitat doesn't make sense either. My hamster actually fell off the top platform a few times. It's very cute and inviting but no matter how small your hamster is this is NOT enough space.

This cage is very cute, but it’s very hard to get the wire top on and it never goes on the same way each time. Also the ramps that come down from each level do not fit securely into the slot designed for them. My hamster has escaped from this cage 3 times already, as there are certain areas of the cage that there is plenty of space for a hamster to squeeze through. Super cute cage but it won’t work very well for a smaller hamster. We have a dwarf hamster. The cage is very easy to clean and comes with a wheel that is also easy to clean. I have contacted the company regarding the wide bars and I will update my review based on their customer service and care regarding this issue.

I bought this for my white tailed hamster. And he absolutely loved it. Yes he fell from the top a few times but he kept going back up. And he really loved the wheel even tho he had trouble getting his chubby self on it... but other than the we absolutely love it.
