The clamp is holding up with no damage to the plastic and I've been rough with it a few days because some days I just don't want to do this. Get one for now or get one for the future. Put it away in the medicine cabinet or utility drawer. You'll be glad you did even if you don't need it now. The price is very fitting. I'd suggest to get two. One being a backup.
