This is as expected. The smaller container is ideal if you don't have a lot of plumbing jobs or need to use except only on rare occasion. Beyond less waste if it does dry up, the container is small enough to store in a sandwich baggie to keep the risk of drying out minimal. The pully is pliable and easy to use. Not sticky. Easy clean up.

Good Sealant, but Watch the Consistency This plumber’s putty does its job well for sealing sink drains, faucets, and small plumbing fixtures. The container is a good size for household or rental property use, and the putty itself is soft, pliable, and easy to mold into place without much effort. It holds its shape and doesn’t crumble, which makes for a neat, clean application. That said, I did notice that the consistency can vary—sometimes it feels softer and easier to stretch, while other times it can be a bit firmer, requiring more hand warmth to get it workable. It seals fine once applied, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re expecting uniform texture every time. Also, unlike silicone, this isn’t meant for high-pressure or underwater repairs—it’s really best for fixture seals. Bottom line: A reliable, easy-to-use plumber’s putty for everyday sink and faucet installs, but keep in mind that consistency may vary slightly from batch to batch.

If you’re like me too lazy to go to the store this is great

The product may be good. BUT, when the Amazon "bag" was opened, the container and lid were "squished". Some place in the delivery chain the bag did nothing to prevent squashing the contents. I used the product for a project - it seemed quite dried out/solid - but it worked for my application. I put the remainder in a ziplock. Time will tell if it stays soft as advertised.

Great puddy to prevent leaks; good quality also.

I bought this to cover myself when trying to do a toilet basin repair. It worked well. Think of this like ptfe tape but for close coupling joins. Sure, if you get it perfect you don't need it... but seriously it's a good product and works well for what it is for. And not expensive and lasts indefinitely so far as i can tell. If like me you're not an ecpert plumber then give yourself a helping hand.

Seals well with sink drain replacement. Easy to mold and apply. Air tight lid to keep putty moist. Great buy for the cost.

Lo he utilizado para cerrar una fuga en el desagüe del lavabo. Cumple muy bien su función, se amasa bien, no mancha y no tiene olor. Se me hace un poco caro, por eso no le pongo cinco estrellas.

I don’t know about you but I hate springing a leak. No there’s no need to worry in the future as all my pipes will be well secured from any leakage or spillage. It’s simply a brilliant product. I bought it specifically to seal some plumbing hoses under the bathroom sink which kept leaking. The instructions are clear, it is easy to use and comes in a handy plastic tub.
