MaxiClimber Cross Crawl Handlebars - Increase Coordination, Improve Core Strength - Take Your Workout to The Next Level

I really prefer the cross-crawl motion. I can feel it working more of my body. It set me back a small number of total counts per workout at first, so I know it adds a bit of difficulty and works more muscles (that's a good thing). I've been using these bars only about a week and I'm already over my counts per workout with the 'standard' bars.My wife found these difficult to work with at first. The motion seemed counter intuitive to her. But she got over that and has now doubled her total count per workout in the last week. Over-all she is as sold on these bars as I am.Overall I'm very happy, I won't be going back to the 'standard' bars.

I have the first model they made I had to do a little mod but worked out very well. I also ordered new rollers and they where perfect.

It has been an improvement to the machine but a others stated it was ridiculous it took so long to develop it and should have been provided to those who had purchased the XL. The handles are not as "stable" as they could be in my opinion, but I think this is a result of the design. Overall good addition to the machine.

Reasonable economical substitute for the versaclimber. I've tried both and am satisfied with the Maxiclimber before and after reconfiguring the machine with the cross crawl handlebars for additional core challenge.

Update:After 6 months the handles started to split where they attach to the machine. I bought another set and 6 months later the new set is splitting also in the same place. But it does add a great addition to the workout. Just doesn’t seem to hold up.Great addition to change things up for my workouts. Love it! Much faster delivery than expected as well. Thank you!

I installed this on the machine and on the first repitition it sheared off/ broke the cell phone holder...I thought surely I overlooked something and there must be a cell phone holder that would work with this type of handle bars. No.The company litterally designed and put out something that breaks their product. The actual workout isn't bad with these handlebars but now I don't have a cell phone holder to wuickly/easily navigate my playlist while working out... Pretty irritated about it.Giving 1 star for the absolute inexcusable design flaw.

I feel like these should be mandatory (come with the climber). This allows you to"crawl" as you would naturally. It's a little disappointing that this is an extra add-on (and cost). Just buy it and consider it necessary.

Someone else did a review and said these should come with the maxi climber XL instead of being an add on. I totally agree as these provide additional options if used as regular and a nice plus when reversed. To charge another 15% to add these is a bit much. With that said, the variety and flexibility does add to the workout and versatility of the machine. I really wish all these 20 minute workouts on Facebook and instagram were on the app so you didn't have to go to multiple places. I also wish there was more variety in the 30 minute workouts on the app, which seems to be from the original maxi climber. If you want to compete with the big boys--Versa Climber and Clmbr, step up your game with the app!
