Lavazza Gran Riserva Whole Bean Coffee Blend, Dark Espresso Roast, 2.2LB Bag Authentic Italian

This is an excellent coffee and works perfect for self grinding coffee machines (they need a dry coffee bean or will jam). Taste is phenomenal. Smooth, rich and silky. Wife has Keurig machine. Not even close.

Having used Starbuck's coffee for years, I thought I would branch out. I first started drinking espresso in France and have had Illy many times. The LaVazza Gran Reserva is magnificent as is the best and the Super Crema is a close second. Espresso without a lot of crema, is bad coffee.

The strength of these beans is definitely medium. We used them in our DeLonghi Magnifica espresso machine daily. While we are true Lavazza fans, we have switched to a darker roast (still Lavazza).

Arrived quickly, why is the bag CHILD PROOF?, I had to use scissors to cut it open, I can see keeping the beans fresh, but daaaaaang. Makes great coffee, All good 👍
