Found this brand at a local natural pet store- clean ingredients at a great value. The low-fat formulation is great for my dog that suffers from pancreatitis.

Good quality product that my dog loves! She is a very picky eater. For the first time in her life she wipes a bowl clean! For all those who have put the review about smell of fish- yes the product does have a smell of "dry fish". But that is actually a good thing. If you are buying a fish product and do not expect the product to have the fish smell, then you are looking to buy a "fake" product! This is a fish based dog food that actually contains fish. So it should not surprise anybody that it smells of fish! LOL. But the smell is that of "dried fish", not that of a fish that has gone bad. Highly recommended.

There are two dog food brand I feel confident feeing my babies and this is one of them. I have fed other lines of kibble within this brand such as the “Ideal Digestion” food and my dogs love it. I am surprised my dogs both loved the “Low Fat Formula” as much as they did. This food is not only great if you have a small, pancreatitis prone dog- it’s also great for dogs with poultry allergies as my one dog has. Freeze dried raw dog food is too high in protein for a smaller dog and lead to problems with diarrhea, weight gain and gas. This food isn’t overly high in protein or fat which is great. I recommend giving this brand a try.

Be aware that the recommended feeding amount shown dues not match what is on the package. I was feeding my 80 lb dog according to the picture shown here. It said 3 1/2 cups. My dog was so hungry. I read the actual bag i received. It recommended 4 1/2 to 5 cups. Once i feed the correct amount my dog's health improved. He was diagnosed with pancreatitis. He is on the mend thanks to Squarepet.

My 12 year old dog has acute pancreatitis and is post gall bladder removal surgery. He also has severe allergies to chicken, beef, and soy. Needless to say it’s been very hard to find a food that is low enough fat plus doesn’t contain his allergens. After a lot of frustrating attempts to find a food that works, Squarepet whitefish formula has done the job. He actually enjoys eating now, is putting on healthy weight, no pancreatitis flare ups or and vomiting. It’s such a relief to find a food that finally works for him. Highly recommend !

The food I received was noticeably a different shade, much lighter than the previous shipment received from a different retailer, not Amazon. After, my dog ate it she got sick and threw up. I checked the information for returning for a refund and lo and behold, there are no replacements or refunds available. I paid nearly $100 for the 22 pound bag. Now, I will be lose out on that $100. To say, I'm not happy is an understatement. If you're contemplating buying from this seller, beware.

My dog has a sensitive stomach and tends to struggle with higher-fat foods, so I decided to give this a try. The low-fat, whitefish formula has worked wonderfully—no digestive issues and he actually enjoys the taste, which hasn’t always been the case with special diet foods. It’s highly digestible, the ingredients seem clean, and I feel confident feeding this long-term. Definitely worth it if your pup needs a gentle, vet-formulated diet.

After months… and yes I do mean months.. of digestive nightmares with my dog.. thousands of dollars in vet bills, many sleepless nights.. all the fun things.. This dog food has been a miracle. Seriously. My vet recommend a crazy expensive “prescription “ diet with terrible ingredients- but it was low fat and gi friendly (so they said). It made things so much worse. I found Squarepet just by accident (random google search) and decided to give it a try. My dog has never had more normal poops in her life. I never thought there’d be a day I’d be overjoyed about poop, but here I am. The dry food worked so well I decided to give the canned food a try too. My dog inhales this food like it’s the best thing she’s ever tasted. She barks and howls for me to hurry up with her meals she’s so excited to eat this. I’m so so so happy with this food.
