TINY! Works great, nice beard comb & de-tangler. Just don't expect a full sized comb.
Boy is this little guy tiny! I guess I didn't read the 2.8" in the description, lol. Imagine my surprise when my beard comb comes and it's the size of my little finger, I couldn't stop laughing! There were no context pictures on the listing to show its tiny size compared to a person's hand or anything either. Anyway, works great and is a nice (but tiny, if I didn't mention that) beard de-tangler. Good quality.

Does size matter?
**Review by MaizyDaizy's Husband** Guys, this is small - tiny. I didn't read the specs or the fine print and thought it was just a handled comb - and it is, for a Ken doll. I'm sure that if I'd have read the specs it would have noted that this was like 2 inches long, but I just saw the picture and thought "Oh, a comb." I don't want to pan a product because I didn't pay attention (Note: if it didn't say that this was a 2" comb then buyer beware). But just note, it is tiny, like literally less than 3"; I know because I just measured it. I guess it's so you can feel like a giant while combing your beard. I thought my $0.99 comb did just fine, but there is a novelty here that a $0.99 comb just can't pull off. One more thing. When I opened the box it came in, I honestly thought that it wasn't there. It had slid under the bottom flap of the box - its that small. If you're a big guy, or have a big beard - forget about it. It would take you all morning to brush your beard - unless you enjoy grooming yourself, and into lots of self grooming, then go for it, this is the brush for you. And now that I think about it, this was bundled with a beard oil and wax, so I guess I should of realized that there are some guys (who would be interested in purchasing these products) that probably do enjoy spending an hour in the bathroom in the morning. I'm more of one those guys who has a bar of soap that covers everything, head to toe, and dry shaves my neck. In and out, including shower, shave, teeth brushed and flossed in about 10 minutes. So why was I buying these products, great question, glad you asked, but it's longer than this review so I'll sum it up with a 15 year anniversary present and trying to impress my wife. Five stars for the comedic value and it really does feel like a high quality, tiny comb. Like one of those replica models, but not the cheap version, the ones with doors that really open and propellers that really spin, that kind of miniature version of a real comb. So there you go. My review of the product.

A nice, very high-quality mustache comb
I used to have a very small mustache comb which was included in a beard care kit I received as a gift many years ago. About one third the size of this comb, it looked like it belonged in a doll house. Along with a pair of small smooth tipped scissors, it was perfect for trimming my eyebrows. For combing my mustache I usually use a brush for both my beard and mustache. An electric beard/mustache trimmer worked better than scissors to trim my mustache, but to trim my eyebrows that little comb was perfect. It’s hard to describe my actual grief when I couldn’t find that little comb one day. I kept it and the scissors in a snack sized ziplock bag on top of my dresser. I’ve searched high and low for them, and the only thing I can think of is that ziplock bag slipped unnoticed off the dresser into the trash can below and got thrown out with the trash. I’ve looked everywhere for an exact replacement, but after a year of looking none has been found. I then found this small Kent moustache comb and it looked promising. It is about three times as large (if you can believe that) but does the trick. I read somewhere that the material Kent combs are made from is cellulose acetate. Initially, I was not impressed, but in further study I found that acetate has superior characteristics to most plastics and is used in better quality eyeglass frames, for example. Acetate is certainly not a cheap type of plastic. Acetate is a non-petroleum material made from wood pulp. It’s strong and light and easily dyed. It is built up layer by layer into sheets and then cut and machined into products. These characteristics make it the perfect material for Kent combs. Rather than the teeth being formed by plastic injection as used in cheap combs, these Kent combs are cut from acetate sheets, then the teeth are cut and polished giving the teeth a very smooth surface. I cannot find any fault with this, a very superior quality comb (except maybe for the excessively large branding on the side). I’m very happy with this Kent mustache comb. I’ve grown to depend on customer product reviews to make more enlightened purchases so I try to do my part by contributing my own reviews to help others. So small, yet mighty
When I got it, I was kinda surprised at the size of this little comb. However, it is perfect for a daily carry and works really well.

Highly recommend this comb for bearded folk to become soft bearded folk
I have got two of these combs for him in case he misplaces one as they are pretty dang small. He absolutely loves this comb and since he has had it, several of his co-workers have also bought one. The men all say that it makes the beard/mustache a bit softer and when used in combination with beard oil, the softness becomes even more apparent. Ladies, get one for your fella if his beard is a bit scratchy to you (don't forget the beard oil). The men have also said that they enjoy combing with it because it feels good. These handmade combs are far better than the plastic ones, you cannot know until you see and try it. I tried one of the larger ones on my long hair. The saw cut teeth kind of clean and smooth the beard hairs in much the same way that a boars hair brush does to my own hair. The difference here in the cheap plastic combs is that they are molded and as such the fine mold lines in the teeth of cheap combs catch, stretch, and break hairs. You don't know any different until you have a real comb. The men say that the points and teeth of this comb feel so much better than cheapy plastic combs and I see them combing their beards a lot these days. Men like to groom too and this comb fits nicely in the small pocket of the jeans or in the back pocket is it not very noticeable (the men say). I have also not heard of one of them breaking, they are very well made. My hubby has grown quite a beard now and uses a larger Kent comb on it but he still carries and uses this small one on his mustache and whole beard too. For a large beard or one who changes beard style a bit, I would recommend the three pack of combs that comes with this one in it. It gives him more options and allows you to "borrow" one of the larger ones for smoothing your own hair. I have every intention of getting more Kent combs/brushes for myself, they appear to be well worth the price.

I'm in love with a comb?!
I bought this to help with my mustache and beard grooming. I carry it every day in my pocket. It is truly tiny... so small that it was a shock to me when I opened it up. But it's perfect for getting to the mustache right up under my nose without interfering with the rest of the hair growing on my face. I used it on my beard as well, before I bought the Slim Jim comb, also made by Kent. The teeth on both combs are about the same length, but the Slim Jim is straight and the length of a normal pocket comb. I ended up buying it because this comb was just a little too short to make it easy to comb through my entire beard. I now carry both with me every day and haven't looked back. High quality all the way. The cost put me off at first, but I won't buy another one of these unless I lose mine, so it ends up being cheap in the long run. Be careful! It's very easy to lose this. I pulled it out of my pocket along with my keys one day and thought it was long gone. By sheer luck, I found it in the grass the next day outside my daughter's daycare, unharmed. Still, I have to be extra careful now not to lose it. They make an all-black version (called the Movember) that looks the same, except it has a hole in the handle. I assume this is for attaching to a keyring or something similar. This is a good idea, and I may end up drilling a small hole in mine for this purpose at some point. The Movember is available on the Kent Brushes website, but I haven't seen it for sale on Amazon. It's priced quite a bit higher because they donate a portion of the purchase to a charity.
