I have used this pepper for decades and I was so happy to find it on Amazon. It is the best pepper and it is FRESH!! It has so many different kinds of peppercorns in it. It really does change up the everyday favorites at dinner time. If I were to have one complaint it would be I wish you still had the glass jars.

I bought this because I have used a similar whole peppercorn that was available from a high end food market, and my new home , there is no such thing and nobody has this. The peppercorns used taste no better than the ground pepper you get at Denny's. So, I took the gamble on Amazon per the reviews and this is every bit as good as what I purchased at the specialty store. Very fresh with strong flavor which is why we go through the hassle of a pepper grinder, right? I not only use it on my meal after being prepped, I always use it in my recipe as well. The ground pepper you get in the spice department seems like filler with no real taste, but this distinguishes itself nicely enough, my looks at me with concern and head caulked as I am grinding multiple teaspoons for said recipe.

The listing does not mention "jar". Container I received is plastic, with cork topper. The previous time I purchased this product it was a glass container. (same general look). The peppercorns are great.

Great Refill For My Pepper Grinder. Economical And Long Lasting.

These are really good peppercorns. The variety of peppercorns intensifies the pepper flavor. I love these coarsely ground. The pepper flavor is much better than pre ground pepper.
