Great Knife, Sheath Could Be a Little Better
I now own three knives in the CRKT Minimalist Series. I like them all, but this one is my favorite. I work in a warehouse and needed a knife for various uses, but primarily for opening boxes and cutting cardboard. I originally bought the Minimalist Bowie, and loved the light weight and how the finger grooved handle fit my hand, but the blade shape wasn't ideal for using the tip to pierce tape on boxes (tip curved up a little too much), and also wasn't great for cutting cardboard due to the short length and curve of the blade. I then purchased the Minimalist Wharncliffe, thinking that the blade shape would be better and everything else would be the same. Unfortunately, the handle on the Wharncliffe model is smaller and has significantly less girth. It didn't fit my hands nearly as well, so it wasn't the perfect knife for me either. I don't know if this drop point model is newer than the other two I own, but for some reason I only noticed it recently, so I figured I'd give it one more try. Just as I'd hoped, this model is exactly what I'd been looking for. It has the larger handle like the Bowie model, but the blade shape is much better and works perfectly for the warehouse tasks I need it for. I wear it on my belt, with the handle down, and it's so light and small that I don't even notice it. The only downside is that the drop point model doesn't fit as tightly in the sheath as either of the other models I tried. It still feels pretty secure when you sheath it, but it doesn't have the satisfying click of the other two models to give me as much peace of mind. I may have to change the orientation of the blade on my belt if this becomes an issue, but so far it hasn't been a problem. It could just be an issue with the particular sheath I received, so others may have less of an issue. The knife is great, though, and I will be carrying it every day.

So comfortable, you'll forget you have it on.
Love this knife. Hangs around the neck, and is very comfortable to wear. Holds an edge very well, and also easy to sharpen.

great lanyard knife for daily light utility use.
I bought this about 2 years ago and have used it nearly daily since then. I carry this as a neck knife - originally worn on the supplied cord lanyard, and eventually I replaced the cord with a chain. Wearing it on a lanyard keeps it immediately available. I also carry a folding knife in my pocket, but I tend to use THIS knife for most of my daily needs due to it being right there on the lanyard hanging at my chest. I find it easy to pull the knife from the sheath and reseat it back into the sheath one-handed. Despite being drawn from the sheath and replaced several times a day every day for the past (nearly) 2 years, it still clicks into the sheath securely every time. The short grip makes it less useful (to me) for heavy use, but it's been perfect for daily light duty such as opening and breaking down packages, cutting small cordage, etc. The drop-point blade works well for slicing, cutting, and piercing. The edge has held up well, and takes resharpening well. I also like the look of it - the black blade and black grip. Though, I realize that is a subjective personal preference.

Great for Opening Packages
Great blade for EDC as long as you have an outer jacket. Folks have asked if I think I'm Rambo. Although the answer is yes, I humbly state, "No.. it's for k9 defense," they tend to continue on their way. :-)

Love this knife
For once a knife that is bare bones and nice. Sharp out of the sheath, love the holder, and takes some pretty good abuse..I've bought another one for a family member, and he loves it as well.

Neck knives are now one of my favorites.
In my life, this knife has easily become an EDC item. I have constantly battled with having too much stuff in my pockets which makes life a little bit harder. I decided to retire my pocket knife in favor of the neck knife just to lighten the load in my pants and it has worked a treat. It feels a little funny at first carrying a knife on your chest as in, do people think I’m crazy for doing this but it eventually wears off. My girlfriend doesn’t think I’m insane for wearing it on my neck now that I’ve explained my logic so we’re cool. I like that it’s in arms reach but isn’t occupying space in my pockets. I can’t comment on the included belt mount, but I’m sure it’s fine for those that want to wear it there.

great edc knife
great lil knife; very sharp, comfortable in hand, nice weight for its size, sheath retention is great. it has become my new edc. my only issue is the belt loop; i’d much rather prefer a clip, instead of having to undo my belt to put on/take off sheath

Parfait
