And it has no problem to play mkv files! One button for access usb is absolutely awesome. No problems to play varies disc format. CON The remote buttons layout is kind of strange. Took me awhile to overcome the learning curve. No internet connection for live bd feature. Conclusion Way much better than big named brands. CUZ I bought Sony BDP-S1700U here last month June 2026! PRO The size is small! The user interface is easy to navigate. The disc reading is fast and responsive! And it has no problem to play mkv files! One button for access usb is absolutely awesome. No problems to play varies disc format. CON The remote buttons layout is kind of strange. Took me awhile to overcome the learning curve. No internet connection for live bd feature. I just plugged it last night thusfar i'm satisfied for the price , I was able to play a DVD, CD music haven't tried BLU-RAY yet the menu on the control is great, i have a samsung smart TV as soon as i connected the HDMI cable and turn on the player the TV identified it and enable the connection really easy >>
