Are the steak knives serrated or do they have a nice smooth edge?

All the knives are serrated. These knives have been my worst purchase ever. I would return them in a heartbeat if I could. I would highly advise against these knives.

Is the handle rubber or plastic?

Very hard plastic wood looking.

which is the better knife.....the ever edge plus or the international silvercap....i keep reading but confused. also, made in spain or china?

The quality of the build is not even at bar with minimum safety needs for either. The steel in the handle doesn't extend all way, and the handle plastic will break. Amazon basics set is better choice

I love the price in a store local to walk in and buy one Henckel knife is $150.00 an that was all I paid for this 14 piece set

Extra sharp but all are serated

Its a quality knife but I regret that they are serated that makes it challenging to slice soft and delicate veggies but its good witg meag. Its so sharp I hurt myself using it.
