You'll need to order a different size. This is 70 inches and you have to stretch it all the way out. My puppy slipped underneath. In turn the fasteners then came off & damaged my wall.

How can I get the hooks off the wall without ripping my drywall?

You can’t. We replaced the hooks with command strips so we didn’t rip the drywall.
