Werther's Original Hard Caramel Candy, 12 Oz Bag

These are the Werther's Original Hard Caramel Candies that have been around forever and I have an elderly friend that loves them and I buy them for him every time I see them at a good price and this is the best price I've ever seen such a large size bag at. These are less per ounce than the dollar store. They arrived fresh , the package was not damaged , no broken candies and I was able to give them as a gift to my friend. If you're looking for the Original hard not chewy these are the ones to get , you won't get them at a lower cost anywhere else delivered to your door. They taste the same as they always did way back when I was a kid. Grab some for yourself or get them for a friend, they have a wonderful caramel flavor.

Candy tastes great. However, each piece should be sealed so that no air can get in and so they can not be rewrapped. I like to give others a piece of hard candy but not these because each piece is not completely sealed. Most other brands that sell individual pieces in a bag for instance, completely seal each piece in airtight wrapping. Werthers should do the same.

I had always heard about Werthers candy but never tried them because I'm not a candy lover. However I bought a pack from the dollar store and must say they are quite addictive. I ended up keeping a pack in my car, my pocket book, kitchen cupboards, and just kept popping they one after the other, much like a drug junkie. That velvety, creamy caramel and butter flavor is irresistible and just melts on the tongue. I became concerned about weight gain and A1C increase that I decided to cut off cold turkey. Believe me it was difficult, and it won't be long before I'll be ordering those large packs from Amazon again. Please pray for my self control.

I started purchasing Werther.s about 3 years ago. I'd gotten out of the hospital, my throat was dry from tubes jammed down by throat, I didn't know Werther's was this good! Now I'm an addict. These are made with real butter and fresh cream, on the package it states 3 pieces per serving, but not how many servings one can have-again addicting.

Sorry no pics, but I eat these too fast! Seriously, I LOVE Werther’s Original Hard Candy. The buttery taste melts in your mouth (although the candy doesn’t.) These little bits of yumminess are positively addictive. Help me! I want more! They would make a great gift, but I don’t think I could ever give them up.

One word for these smooth lovely caramels -- addicting! Good thing they are silky smooth, because I could make my way easily through 1/4 of the package -- and any other hard candy would have rubbed the roof of my mouth raw!! Ha! Actually, everyone in the family enjoys them too. Arrived on time and were adequately packaged.
