Easy to use and not messy at all
Good product and easy to use. Seems to work well with keeping chain lubed and not slinging off easily.

lube in a tube
I was recently planning for a fairly long bike trip. Long enough that I knew I would need to lube the chain. This is the "why didn't I think of that" product. The product itself is great, it lubes, protects and does not sling off. Most importantly, it is a breeze to install. No messy spray or grease in a bottle. Just squeeze the product onto the included brush, spread it over the chain, let it sit for a few minutes and be on your way again. As a bonus, if you do not have bags the tube will probably fit under your seat. A great idea and a GREAT product.

Feels like a chain wax, has consistency of tooth paste
Motul C5 Chain Paste This paste is advertised to be an easier to apply and cleaner method of lubricating motorcycle/ATV/bicycle chains mainly because it is a paste that is squeezed out into a brush. Upon opening the tube, the paste has a very faint odor that resembles Teflon paste. It definitely does not seem to have much moly lube, it is white and odorless. Moly is generally dark and gets everywhere and has a unique odor. When the temperatures are cold, the C5 paste is hard and thick, like toothpaste. Applying it to a chain can be difficult. It sort of oozes out slowly and sticks to the brush. I found myself just brushing one side of the chain since I cannot get the brush and tube inside the swingarm to apply it to the back surface of the chain rollers. I just don't feel confident that I am hitting all of the appropriate places on the chain: O-rings, front and back of the external plates, and all of the rollers. I also have my doubts that the paste won't sling off or attract dust/grit. It's very similar to a chain wax, and I find those tend to sling off on my crankcase and on the chain guards, and they also attract a decent amount of grit. I normally use a spray lube that consists of Teflon and moly, which has worked well. The only mess that comes with the spray is anything that drips out, and I use an old rag to catch it and re-apply it to the rest of the chain. So in that regard, the C5 paste is definitely cleaner and easier to apply. However, I'd recommend only doing it when the chain and ambient temperatures are warmer so you're able to spread the thick paste out more evenly. Overall: 4/5 stars. The paste *seems* devoid of moly, and is mostly a wax and Teflon mixture. It is definitely easier to apply, but I don't feel confident about it reaching all of the parts of a chain and it will most likely sling off a little and attract dirt/grit. It feels comparable to a chain wax.

Easy to use
I like it. I used a tooth brush to apply it rather than the brush it came with as it just seemed easier doing it that way. I just started using it so I will have to wait to see how much dust it attracts but im not worried about it. Went for a quick ride & none flung off. I applied less to begin then when the chain was warmed up after my ride I put a little bit more on. Im happy with it. I personally didnt enjoy using the aerosols so this works for me 👍

Last step in chain maintenance
I clean the chain with WD40. Then apply gear oil. Then seal it up with the paste. Works great and stays put.

Good easy to use and comes with brush love this instead of using spray lubricant cause this type doesn't splatter all over your motorcycle
