Download sea tools and run all the tests. Look up the info on how to use it. The fw-fxr kit worked for me. But I had a specific problem and hard drive from a specific series. For my situation I give it 20 stars. Do your research on your drive, then you decide. I would love to give you better advice but without knowing all the variables I just can't say yes.

FW FXR can fix some problems of this drive but not all of them. Please note that this drive is fully suorted by our DfS tool kit only.
