Beautiful color, great coverage, and an amazing DIY makeover paint!
Nuvoโs Cabinet Paint in Earl Grey is such a game-changer for DIY projects. The color is a gorgeous medium gray with a soft, modern feelโrich enough to add depth but neutral enough to match almost anything. It instantly updates older cabinets without looking too dark. The paint goes on smoothly with surprisingly good coverage, even on older or previously finished cabinets. It self-levels well, dries quickly, and doesnโt leave streaks when applied with a roller or brush. The finish is durable once cured, and it looks like a professional upgrade even for beginners. A single quart goes further than youโd expect, making it a great budget-friendly makeover option. And best of all, thereโs no overwhelming odor, so it's easy to work with indoors. If youโre looking for an easy way to refresh bathroom or kitchen cabinets with a beautiful modern gray, Nuvo Earl Grey is absolutely worth it!

Color: Cocoa Couture
This is probably the best furniture paint I've ever bought. We steipped the previous paint (which was streaky, not this brand) and stained them. The stain was supposed to be dark, but we just couldn't get it to how it was advertised no matter how many coats we did. We left it for a few months, and I was going to try staining it again. I ended up buying this paint instead. This paint is thin but has really good coverage after 2 coats ! It seaps into the wood grain so now my cabinets look like how I wanted then to look with the stain. The undertone of this brown really makes our gold fixtures pop !

Great product but CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN your surfaces!
I just bought a house and I desperately wanted to change the cabinets and the red brick fireplace. I did some research and found Nuvo and decided to try it out. Iโm glad I did. Iโve added photos to show the HUGE difference a can of paint makes. Itโs remarkable. I decided to โwhiteโwash my fireplace using the Driftwood color and water. It took a couple coats...was very easy to do and looks great! The cabinets were a pain to paint but they always are. The most important thing is CLEANING your cabinets well. If you think theyโre clean...scrub again. I thought I had done a good job but unfortunately, I didnโt do as well as I thought. There are a few places that the paint is cracking because there was still some greasy/dirty areas. Itโs not overly noticeable and I decided to leave it as is and go with a slightly โrusticโ look (ie lazy). There is no need to sand with this product which was great. And I chose not to remove the doors which was fine too. I didnโt prime and it only took 2 coats to get great coverage. Iโm pleased with the outcome. I chose not to use a sealant (but I debated on putting on a coat of polyacrylic)...so we will see how the cabinet paint holds up over time. This product goes a long way too. The kit come with 2 small cans of paint but I purchased 2 extra โjust in caseโ. For my fireplace and the kitchen cabinets, I only used 1 1/2 cans. I have enough left over to paint the cabinets in our two bathrooms! Overall, this was a great buy. It was easy to use. It turned out great. Itโs made a huge difference in our new home.

TERRIFIC PAINT!!!
This is outstanding paint if it's applied the right way. It has the same sheen as more expensive cabinets. After I had read all the reviews on this paint especially the ones where the paint peeled of easily and the finger marks left if it were touched so I was able to learn from the mistakes of others. Forget what the company said about being able to apply this paint on top of old surfaces. Paint is paint and it needs something to grab on too. Any manufacturer of paint will tell you the same basic rules wash of dirt and dust, sand the area blah blah blah if you want your hard work to come out right follow the basics but I might have been tempted too if a manufacturer told me there's no need to sand the cabinet. I had a complete disaster spray painting cabinets black I also sprayed the walls, floor windows and put several coats on thinking the more the better ,my job was ruined. With this job I sanded the cabinet until I got rid of ALL the gloss and it took a lot of Sanding to get rid of the gloss , these cabinets receive 7-9 coats in the Factory so keep that in mind. I used an orbital sander plus elbow grease and washed the cabinets between Sanding the final one I left the cabinet damp because the wet opens up the wood pores and applied a thin coat with a sponge roller and let it dry for a about 10 hours then applied a second coat without Sanding between coats and the results are spectacular. I am delighted with the result. I have a hard finish I tried to scratch off paint with my nail.... nothing, I rubbed my fingers all over it... no fingermarks. This is great paint if you follow the rules of painting. I plan on putting the cabinet on pinterist under my email [email protected] because I added another detail to my cabinet. I bought a roll of paintable beadboard wallpaper cut it out and pasted it to the insert of the cabinet, waited 12 hours and applied 2 coats of the Nuvo paint. I swear you would think they came from the Factory that way .I bought these old oak cabs of Craiglist for a bargain , now I can match them up with my black Ikea cabs because they discontinued the cabs I had so this is even better. The whole cost was $20.00 including the cabinet.

The color is true to the name
I was redoing the guest bath for a forest/farm style theme. I picked this color as a soft contrast to the gray. I sanded the cabinets and applied deglosser for a couple of days before hand. The cabinets are light color so I skipped the primer. I was worried the paint would spill in transit. This was the first time i ordered paint online. Luckily it arrived intact with fasteners on the lid (see pic 1). I popped the lid to verify the color. Its exactly what i wanted! I took a pic of it in the brightest natural light available (pic 2). Application was pretty easy. I average 2 coats (3 at most) for the cabinet structure, doors and drawer. It tries very easy, about 1 episode of your favorite show (30 mins) for each application. However, I did experience some crackling exactly 3 spots (one under the counter, one part of the door frame, and one of the doors along the knob). When i painted, i know temperature affects the paint, so i did make sure to paint in early evening when it was cooler. I let the crackling go cause it plays up that farmhouse/vintage feel. Perhaps the darker colors make it look less noticeable? I took my time with this project taking a couple of days. Overall, it applied well and i was able to achieve the look I was looking for (last two pics are my before and after). However, the consistency was a tad thick and if youre not patient, application can be a bit globby. I read a lot of reviews with this product (not necessarily the same color) where people have crackling issues. For the price, it was okay. I had a little bit of product left (just enough for touch ups)

excellent paint product.
This paint is excellent. I have old kitchen cabinets and they look brand new. The color is very realistic and the quality of the paint and ease of application was great. Just a light sanding and cleaning of under layer but the paint does all the work. Very nice product.

Love this paint! Iโm a huge Fusion brand paint but this surpassed my expectations. I did sand lightly and I did prime and you can see how beautiful they turned out
