Canโt beat Da Vinci cards!
We play cards daily and these hold up beautifully. Easy to shuffle. Easy to read. They donโt bend or tear. Love them!

Fantastic sets of cards
These are my first sets of plastic cards, and I adore them. I got a hair to get better playing cards after my young boys wanted a deck of cards and I picked up your basic plastic coated paper Bicycle deck for like $5. That deck showed significant wear after like 1 week! So I wanted to get something better, and arrived at these awesome decks. I did a TON of research prior to buying these. I read user reviews on Amazon, I read opinion threads in card playing forums and Redditโs, and I read reviews on sites dedicated to reviewing decks of playing cards. The brands that consistently arose as quality plastic cards were Copag, KEM, Fournier, Dal Negro, and Modiano. Da Vinci, I learned, are made by Modiano. These specific sets of Da Vinciโs are apparently the exact same thing as Modiano Bike Trophy Jumbo - Red and Blue. After research, it came down to Copag and these for me, and I settled on these solely because I discovered a friend had Copags - I figured I could always check those out and compare. I couldnโt be happier with the decision. The sets come in a sturdy plastic case that houses both decks, along with 1 red cut card and 1 black cut card. Each deck has 2 jokers, as well as a card with instructions on ordering individual replacement cards should the need arise. If you are new to plastic playing cards, they do have a different feel and they handle differently than the paper coated plastic youโre likely accustomed to. But these decks have a sort of a semi rough finish to them that make them easier to handle and shuffle. The card face designs are really nice, from the face cards to the numbered cards offset by a tan or beige rectangular box surrounding the pips. The only negative I have for these decks is the joker design. Iโm just not a fan of the artwork, but itโs a very small nitpick. Iโm certain there are card authorities out there, and Iโm not one of them. Iโm just average joe card playing guy who wanted something better than paper coated plastic. If that sounds like you, and youโre reading and researching, do not hesitate to purchase these cards. They are of high quality, will last infinitely longer than normal cards, and they look and feel great!

Durable and well worth the extra cost
I play a weekly poker game in my buddy's garage. We used to go through at least one deck of Bicycle cards a week. I just replaced the first deck after about 40 games (they were still playable, just worn). At two decks in this pack, that is replacing around 80 Bicycle decks. We had previously tried KEM cards, but those warped and chipped after just a couple months in the semi-outdoor environment of the garage. It took some of the guys a few weeks to get used to shuffling and dealing the plastic cards, but now everyone prefers them. My wife and I have been using the same deck since 2014 and they look like brand new.

Very durable, but slippery
This is my first set of plastic cards. The good: they seem indestructable. My wife is the worst shuffler and bends paper cards till they crease. All of our old decks are ruined by her shuffling. But we have used these every day for a week, and they seem to be the same as the day we got them. I think these will last a very long time. The plastic case is nice and durable as well. The bad: they are slippery. This makes them really easy to shuffle, but don't touch the stack or it will fall over. You can't throw these cards while dealing, they will sail off the table. I'm not sure if all plastic cards are this way, and maybe I'll get used to it, but it can be annoying.

Great Cards, but...
We've been using these cards for about eight years, replacing them about every four years just because we love that brand new feel. These are orders of magnitude better than your regular Bicycle playing cards. I can't even touch those anymore. Love the large index, and that you can wipe them clean. HOWEVER, the Da Vinci website still says "Comes with a lifetime replacement card warranty for lost cards and cards that you damage during game play," but this simply isn't true. We somehow lost our six of spades and it's $1.50 to replace it, not free. It's not a dealbreaker, but don't advertise something you don't intend to honor. (Copag brand cards still replaces lost cards for free)

All aroud these cards are a better deal.
I have tried the two other major brands of cards and found that these are much better than the rest. The feel of them is softer and definitely more flexible and easy to shuffle. Update to my Review, Since my first review I have purchased around 12 or so of these decks. I belong to a group of 20 guys that play for medium stakes poker (5/10 ante no limit). I used to buy the other famous brand "C---G" and there is no comparison. These are a slightly thinner and more flexible card. They do not chip nor crack like their competitors cards. The only problem that I have is that the ink starts to wear thin after around a month of play (we play a 4 to 5 times a week for about 8-10 hours at a time). All I can say is that if you are looking for the BEST card you can play is to buy these. Don't pay more or less, these are for you. I was "NOT" paid or given any discount for my review.

Made in Italia
Haven't owned a Modiano set before, I believe that these cards should be under the same production line as Modiano. The cards are really thick and fairly easy to shuffle. One of the best value deck you can find in Amazon. High recommend for starter!

The quality
I use those for poker only, I like the feel of them when dealing, you can bend them without fear of braking or cracking them. The numbers and letters are just the right size.
