VATIN Apple Green Satin Ribbon 1-1/2 Inch x 25 Yards for Gift Wrapping

This ribbon is GORGEOUS. I bought it for my daughter's wedding this fall. Her color is a cabernet wine color and this is a perfect match. Great quality, smooth and double faced. 25 yards is a generous amount and the 1.5 inch is great for decorating or ribbon ties on chairs. For gift wrap..pretty luxe. It isn't wired and it isn't stretchy.

This ribbon exceeded my expectations! The yellow color is absolutely beautiful. The color was bright, vibrant, and exactly what I was looking for. The satin material feels high-quality with a nice, smooth finish, and it holds its shape really well when tying bows. It added the perfect touch to my project. I would definitely purchase again!

Pretty color

beautiful silky lace, not thin. It makes my crafts looks wrapped very nicely, i’ve used this for everything from hairstyles to gift wrapping. It’s bonded very well. cute!

Then why 4-Gold? As the title of my review is written the material is of a high quality, almost silk but I do not know, with the color of the ribbon stunningly beautiful. The picture on the sell-site will not do it justice. Here is what kept this thing in the 4-Gold territory. It is not the craftsmanship, it is very well made. It is not the sheen of the color, nope. The thing I can't get over is that the material doesn't want to be cut. I tried a pair of sharp, new Fiskars - no; a sharp razor knife, very sharp - no. The material snags and runs no matter what sharp implement that I use. I am not a crafter but I use this ribbon to fill spaces that a picture creates when the frame is larger than the photo. In other words, it fills voids and does a wonderful job at that, again, beautifully. Someone out there I am sure could school me on cutting ribbon properly but for now, I just take my time and deal with it the best that I can. I am not dissuading you from buying this . . . just saying. 4-Gold all day.

I purchased this ribbon to make a sash for my wedding dress - I had every intention of finishing the ends, carefully measuring and then tacking it to my dress with matching thread to hopefully keep it from sliding and bunching and wrinkling, but between making my own cake and desserts and hors d’oeuvres for my (perfect!) DIY wedding, I found myself quickly unwinding a length of this beautiful double sided ribbon, tying it around my waist in a bow, trimming the ends to length, spinning the bow to the back and walking down the stairs to my ceremony! And it looked gorgeous! All day! I COULD just tie a bow - truly double sided and the ribbon is gorgeous - no trying to make show the good side showed. It was supple enough to tote a nice looking bow and the ends hung nicely,, but sturdy enough that just tied as it was, it didn’t wrinkle or bunch at all. Heavy enough the bow stayed in the back (and kept the sash exactly where I wanted it!) but light enough I only noticed it when I saw it (and loved it!) No transfer of color to my dress - just beautiful - exactly what I had in mind without any of the fuss I had intended to make!

After a total disaster of making 60 double bows in what I thought was a good ribbon ( it frayed terribly). I had to remake all the bows again! I found this ribbon, beautiful quality and really worth spending that extra money for quality.

Exactly what I needed

Beautiful ribbon it’s actually the colour shown in the pictures. Only reason I returned it was because I bought wrong size, I’ve since ordered the larger size. Good price for the amount of ribbon you get.
