Works for 2nd gen prius
Cheap replacement for the OEM I had that went bad. Now my high beams work again.

It works
I was concerned at first when the part number didn't match my OEM ballast, but everything plugged in and works. Now I think I need to replace the other bulb as it is dimmer than this new one. Tip: the large connector does not willingly pass through the inside of the light (which is unfortunately normal for OEM headlights). Remove the headlight adjuster and anticipate a little prying to get the headlight cable to pass through.

Too early to say but so far, so good.
So far so good. Easy to install.

Not OEM Duplicate: 2007 (Gen 2) Prius Requires De-soldering/soldering Wire (unlike OEM & others)!
Warning: NOT OEM duplicate. For 2007 (and presumably other Generation 2 years) Prius: this Ransoto DDLT003 85967-52020 Xenon Headlight Ballast [ASIN B08KZM31MG] REQUIRES careful de-soldering & soldering lamp ground (unlike Toyota OEM & others after-market parts) to avoid re-leveling headlights!Toyota screwed all its 2007, et al, HID Prius customers in as much as both changing a headlight lamp and or a headlight ballast is a pain in the rear. With only 142,000 miles, I've had to change both head lamps 3 times and both ballasts twice!Neither of these processes are easy, ESPECIALLY changing the HID ballast.First pain in the rear: The 2007 Prius HID headlights are part of a large assembly including running and turn signal lamps. Removing the headlight assembly REQUIRES loosening and partially removing the front bumper cover. Once the headlight assembly is removed, access to the ballast is from the assembly bottom, the ballast being retained by 4 SS PH screws. Once partially removed, one can see the ballast has 2 cables connected, ONLY ONE of which is removable. Now the VERY BIG PAIN IN THE REAR: The ballast to headlight lamp NON-REMOVABLE cable has a high-temperature lamp connector that is too large to pass the interior parts of the headlight assembly. One has, apparently, only two BAD choices: A) partially disassemble the headlight assembly and then later realign the headlights; or B) disassemble the high-temperature HID lamp connector, and then reassemble after fishing its cable through the headlight assembly confined interior.Regarding Choice A: Realigning headlights is NOT likely to be accurate unless one FIRST creates accurate and repeatable vehicle, floor, and PRECISE wall targets for BOTH headlights BEFORE doing ANY disassembly. Given the safety hazard created by misaligned headlights, I have chosen to not choose Choice A.With the Toyota OEM ballast, Choice B is a pain as connector disassembly is clearly not planned, but it can be done with a small flat-head screwdriver and a knife blade. Once disassembled, both the red (hot) wire and white (ground) wire are terminated to contacts that are easily removed from the black plastic insulating connector housing. Other aftermarket ballast manufacturers (that I purchased and which have been documented by others on DIY web sites and videos) have duplicated Toyota's OEM ballast high-temperature 23,000 volt HID lamp connector red and white wire contact terminations. This Ransoto DDLT003 85967-52020 Xenon Headlight Ballast [ASIN B08KZM31MG] does NOT duplicate the Toyota OEM ballast ballast to headlight lamp NON-REMOVABLE cable high-temperature HID lamp connector wire termination. Instead, the white (ground) wire is soldered to the connector contact, REQUIRING careful de-soldering the wire termination, and then even-more-careful re-soldering after fishing the high-temperature cable through the headlight assembly confined interior.Learning how this Ransoto ballast was different easily pentupled the total task duration AND required that I setup de-soldering/re-soldering equipment and station unexpectedly. If you have a Generation 2 Prius, do NOT purchased this Ransoto ballast unless you have high-voltage soldering experience and equipment—the HID ignition requires 23,000 volts momentarily!I would NOT repurchase this Ransoto DDLT003 85967-52020 Xenon Headlight Ballast [ASIN B08KZM31MG]. In fact, I would have returned it except I had already removed both headlight assemblies before learning of the serious design flaw.

Hid for 08 Toyota Solara
Everything is working great. Plug and play no other modifications. It is bright and matches the projector light beam. Very affordable. I will buy again.
