Hooks up to your cable modem (or other internet access device) just like a regular wireless router, but you don't have to go to an IP address to set up the router - just go to the website they give you in the instructions (even from a different internet connection) and enter the code on the bottom of the router and you can set the wifi name and password. Then you can select what streaming services are located where. I was pleasantly surprised that although there are about 10 streaming services shown on the configuration page that you can select which country they go through (8 countries available for netflix!), there are many more services that are already default routed to the US - things that only support US like VRV or Pandora.I had no problems with the router's speed or range on the wifi connection, very comparable to a good 4 antenna high power router. It supports 2.4 and 5ghz wifi, and appears to switch automatically between them seamlessly, at least on my mac. Good speed even at a distance, and the streaming relocation works perfectly with my Roku, my mac, and my android phone (when on wifi). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Internet Speed is no longer a problem. *by B***L on July 2, 2024* I am a Brit, living in SE Asia, wanting to keep in touch with UK TV.
