I'm really glad that I took out insurance on the luggage I purchased on Amazon. Baggage handling managed to rip the upper handle off of the suitcase somewhere between Honolulu and Albuquerque leaving my almost new suitcase almost useless. Asurion handled my claim quickly and efficiently. They provided an Amazon gift card in the amount of the original price within minutes. My only issue is that I had to cover the 7.875% NM tax and take out a new Asurion policy for the replacement suitcase.

I’ve always been hesitant of purchasing protection plans. This was the first one that I purchased in several years and I am very happy with the outcome.
