Quality and fit....
Perfect fit. Used for mounting flash hider/muzzle break that needed to be set with holes at 12 oclock. Easy to set using the back off/tighten method.

Good quality crush washers rust easy are economical enough for frequent muzzle device changes.
I had run out of crush washers for a 7.62 MSR. Ordering these was quick and easy. I like how many are in the box which is a good value for the money. The crush washers are single use items, so swapping muzzle devices frequently eats these washers which can get pricey. The washers fit well, are sized correctly and so easy to install a caveman can do it. Quality of the washers is good enough. I don't expect them to last forever, just long enough for some decent range time. The washers function well. My only complaint is that they appear to be a bit soft and appear to rust faster than some of the other washers on my other MSRs.

Fairly easy to install for beginners.
For use with muzzle brakes, compensators, and suppressors, these crush washers are easy to install and set the proper timing. For general purposes, I will refer to these as "muzzle pieces." Slide a crush washer onto the bare threaded end of your barrel with the convex side facing inward. The crush washer will cup against your muzzle piece as you install it. Next, thread on your muzzle piece by hand until it is snug against the washer. Use a wrench to finish tightening the muzzle piece carefully. The top side of the muzzle piece must be centered with the sight line of the barrel for correct timing. For example, I installed a typical birdcage-style flash hider, which features five slot openings around it, two on either side, and one centered at the top. The bottom side is solid, without any slot openings. I was able to slip a coin into the top slot, and while looking through the sights, I turned my wrench until the coin was aligned with the fore-end sight. This alignment is important because it affects the recoil response. Misalignment will not likely damage your weapon immediately, if at all, but it will certainly make maintaining your target more difficult after each subsequent round. Tightening your muzzle piece places pressure on the crush washer. The washer is designed to lock the muzzle piece in place at the proper alignment. If you go slightly past centering the muzzle piece, you can turn it back to center, but if you severely overtighten it, the crush washer may no longer hold the muzzle piece in place as it becomes deformed, crushed. You will need to replace the washer and try again. A crush washer is not meant to be reused. If you remove your muzzle piece for cleaning or other reasons, you should discard the washer and replace it with a new one. I recommend using a vise while performing this type of work. It can be done without a vise, but with much greater difficulty. It is not easy to hold the weapon steady while applying torque to tighten parts. A basic low-end vise can be purchased for around $50โ60.
