Rubie's Marvel Captain America Costume Accessory Shield, 12"

Good product. It's small but an accurate size for a little kid to pretend to be Captain America. It feels sturdy and has two little straps on the back the right size for my six year old to hold. Maybe a tad pricey but to me it's good enough quality that I'm happy with the purchase.

We got the shield for our 4 year old grandson who just lives it, in fact played with it tonight (tried caps sheild throw 😱).It's the perfect size for a kid let's say 10 and below, older I would search for a slightly bigger one. It has elastic bands on the inside that hold it to his arm perfectly.I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking to give their kid that super hero feel 😃

Bought this for my grandson who is 4 and rough.. it’s held up great. Few scratches on it already but nothing serious. He loves it. Fits his arm well but also my 11 yr old can join in and use it too. I’ve seen the shield come with a bunch of other things for a lot of money but my grandson only wanted the shield so this was perfect. Colors are not fading or anything. Shipped fast. Overall happy!

The media could not be loaded. If you have a superhero loving child, especially one that loves Captain America, then this shield will be a perfect gift! It’s made of a tough plastic, but it’s also still bendable, which I suppose is good for toddler play. It’s a good size for toddler aged kids (I included a couple photos with the shield next to a standard roll of paper towels just to offer a better representation of it’s true size). It’s easy for my three year old son to slide the elastic straps over his hand and he doesn’t need my assistance to put it on- I love that he can use it independently. In terms of durability and stability, I’m happy... but in terms of value, my opinion is that this toy is overpriced. It’s true that it’s one of my sons favorite toys… But it is literally a plastic circle with a strap on the back and I don’t think that should warrant a $20 price tag. Just my opinion. This was exactly what we were looking for for our 3-yr-old son. It’s lightweight and easy for him to use. The elastic attaches to his arm very well. It cannot be worn as a backpack. The plastic seems to be pretty sturdy since it hasn’t cracked even with him standing on it (despite my yelling at him to not do that!). It’s the perfect children’s toy or Halloween accessory.

For $10, it's a good toy. The picture here makes it look cheaper than it really is. In reality, it looks better made than this picture. It's very very slightly see through plastic but that's only if you stare at it. Otherwise, the paint is done nicely. It has 2 non-adjustable elastic straps in the back.I haven't given it to my kid yet. I'm curious to see how well the paint scratches. I got him a solid Capt. America costume at Costco that comes with a solid mask but a cheap looking inflatable shield. I think he'll like this toy beyond Halloween.

The colors are true to the picture and the marvel style Capt. America shield. The plastic is a quality thickness but I think it would crack if too much pressure was applied to the center of the shield while it is lying flat on the ground. we won't be having that problem for a while because my grandson won't put it down. We had to draw the line at sleeping with it.

I have an Avengers obsessed 3 year old and he loves this. His only complaint is that it doesn't boomerang back to him when he throws it lol. It also took him about 5 minutes before he was throwing it around the house getting bad guys like Captain America. It has held up great to his rough and tumble play. He had another one that came with a costume from costco and it definitely didn't hold up as well as this one, that one ended up broken and thrown in the trash in like 2 weeks. This one doesn't feel chincy or flimsy and has actually stayed in one piece which is saying a lot for a little boy!
