This particular brand is the real thing, with all of the proper ingredients included... Lime, lemon grass, etc. I have had to track it down, to continue to find it, but it is more than worth the effort. And this is a g-o-o-d price. I have come up with an easy way to prepare it: Preheat oven to 375*F To deep casserole dish, add: Two-Three Tablespoons of Paste. 1/2-1 teaspoon White Sugar 1 teaspoon Chicken Base, not bouillon. 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice 1-2 teaspoons Fish Sauce Stir together until blended. Stir in 1 Can Coconut Milk. Add 2-3 chicken breasts and cover in sauce. Put in oven for 35-40 minutes. Add 1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 chopped bell pepper, 1/4 cup carrot slices and 1/2 can of bamboo shoots. Cook 15-20 minutes more, just until onions lose their raw flavor, but the veggies are still crisp. Serve on the plate, garnished with grated lime zest. Color code: Pink = Mild, Orange = Medium, Red = Hot Serve with Jasmine Rice. Delicious! Fresh shrimp make a wonderful addition/substitution, but don't overcook them.

A Taste of Thai red curry paste is my favorite brand of pre-made paste, but lately I haven't been able to find it in my local grocery store. I kinda go all-out with this. You are supposed to use 1 tablespoons per can of coconut milk, but I use the whole package to give my stir-fry an intense flavor and medium-hot spice level. I sauté bell peppers, onions, carrots, and broccoli with my choice of protein (chicken, salmon, shrimp), if any, and cook until just done. I add the paste and cook for an addition minute, adding the coconut milk last, heating until hot. Served over jasmine rice, it's one of my family's favorite meals. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I can no longer find this in stores near me, glad it’s still available on Amazon. I use it to make grilled curry chicken. It’s the best curry paste I have found.

This is hands down my favorite curry paste. My local grocery stores stopped carrying this a couple years ago...I was devastated. I went on the search for a comparable paste. We tried at least 15 since and none of them came close, even the ones from the Asian grocer. I was over the moon when I discovered it was on Amazon. The flavor is very concentrated. I usually use 2 packs of paste to 3 cans of coconut milk. That creates a rather mild building heat as opposed to burning your taste buds off.

I really like this paste ... I used it for lots of meals (not just thai based) - but the price has doubled - and the taste is changed slightly, but I will still keep some with my spices. Because of the price, it is used for company meals now - where in the past, I used it every week.

We absolutely LOVE the red curry paste! We could no longer find at Publix so we were so happy to be able to order online now. Would like to see less bulky packaging however (but this includes most products we purchase). Six cardboard boxes inside another cardboard box only to contain a small plastic envelope of curry paste in each. I would love to see the six small packages come in one box/envelope. Sorry for the rant, but this is something all manufacturers should consider, especially when buying in bulk.

I love that I can throw a few chicken breasts in a pan along with a generous scoop of Thai curry paste, a cup or two of coconut milk and some mushrooms and veggies and I've got a tasty meal in no time.

Love this for Thai Red Curry but I can't find this locally so I appreciate buying on Amazon.
