Williams Gun Sight Firesight Adjustable Set Taurus with Dovetail - Excludes

Replaced the OEM sights on my Taurus Millennium Pro 9mm with these and happy with the fit, look and function ... the only reason it's not 5-stars is because there's no illumination in a dark room or hallway ... not by fault of the product, but not tritium either ... for the money, it's a very good product and value ... besides, my 5.11 ATAC L1 Tactical Flashlight will illuminate any interior threat faced.Update 1/20/14 ... changed my rating to 5 Stars after receiving a comment that non-illumination in very dark places was not to be expected and was not indicated in the product description ... I agree and appreciate the feedback. In this update, I'll restate that the product is excellent and performs very well in low light (not dark) conditions.

The rear sight was perfect for the PT-1911 but the front sight is a lot too high. Luckily I had another front sight to use with it if the set had a front sight that was .225 high it would have been a perfect match. I just wish the front sight that I used would have had an optical insert. It is however a quality made in USA product.

The photographs are definitely misleading. A true night sight is illuminated in 100% darkness... Not recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their nightstand weapon. I will probably be taking a white paint pen to the sight posts...Had I known I may have selected another type, but they will be sufficient for range days at least.
