The duration taken for the transfer will depend on the “allocation unit size” and other factors, but what previously took me over two minutes to transfer, 1GB, now takes less than ten seconds. In the box, you get a USB-C to USB-C 16cm cable, so you can natively hook it up to USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports. Most mid-tier laptops and desktop PCs from 2015 onwards have a USB-C port and connecting the portable SSD is straightforward.
