Good bag for local or temporary use but not for air travel
I purchased two of these bags for a recent event where we needed to trasport a tux and gown with us to a location where we would be dressing later in the day. The bags served that purpose very well, and for that type of use or for storage purposes, I highly recommend them. But, please don't think that this would be a good garment bag to use for any extended travel or as checked luggage on a flight. It is not intended for that purpose and would not perform well. The picture is a little misleading, as there is no handle or loop at the top end of the bag. There is one at the bottom. What you do is allow the hanger(s) to extend through the top hole, and then gently fold the bag and loop the lower handle loop over the hangers. This lets you carry or hang the bag in shorter areas.A good one size fits all type bag. A full tux with about four hangers fits fine in it. It offers good protection and is simple to use and carry.

Black Tie Wedding
liked that it was made in the USA. --three long gowns fit inside. One had a lot of tulle on the bottom. one had a jacket. Sturdy, was handled by several people, in and out of cars, closets, carts. Folded it to fit in car but could have used something to hold the top and bottom together besides the hangers. Didn't need the name pocket this time. No problems with the zipper. Liked that it opened down the middle instead of the side--one of the reasons I bought it in the first place.Wished there was some way to hook the hangers together besides a rubber band. Too bad there wasn't a window to see what was inside, but I guess I could have written that on the name pocket. Great price. Bought another for the tux.Might buy a few more to replace the plastic ones in my closet now.

Nice, medium durability and quite long
This is about what the other reviews led me to expect. It is a middle-weight synthetic material that is not as heavy as luggage or even canvas, but is a lot thicker than the plastic ones that are available at some dollar stores. It is much better quality than those. I should have measured my gown, because this bag is even longer than I needed, and when hanging in my closet, the bag drags the floor. At least the handles on each end enable me to double it up and I can probably hang it directly from the closet bar with no hanger. I only need this for short road trips in the car every month or so, and it should work very well for that. The price of $12.57 was quite reasonable. It would be nice if it came in other colors such as beige or gray.

Odd design, but good size
Large enough for my costumes and pretty durable. The one thing I don't like about it is the shoe compartment at the bottom. There is a loop at the bottom, presumable to carry the bag folded, but it gets awkward carrying it folded if there are shoes in the compartment. I'd love it if there was a loop/handle in the middle, so carrying it folded would leave the shoes hanging down. It's too long to carry unfolded. The diagonal zipper is a little weird, too. Not sure why it's designed the way it is.

Good price, good garment bag, ideal for choir robes
I use this for choir robes and they work well for that, I am very tall and my robes fit in pretty easily. The material is light in common with other garment bags. I caught it on a hook designed to hold a cargo net in the trunk of my car and the bag tore a little at the seams. I decided to replace it with the same item feeling the tear was bad luck and not an inherent problem of the product. I am pleased with this product.

decent garment bag
This is a decent garment bag for the price. It's not a heavy weight bag, but I only needed to protect (and hide from my fiance) my wedding dress on a flight to Mexico. The bag protected my dress coming and going and is still in very good condition. My only complaint is that the bag is a little short for a full length wedding dress with train. I had to push the train of my dress into the bag. Not a problem though, as I had it steamed when I arrived at the resort.Definitely worth the money!

Garment bag for gown
I bought this bag for my wedding dress. My dress is a-line strapless with some body in the bottom part, and the bag was a little more "snug" than what I wanted, but it is long enough that it doesn't smash the bottom and it fits pretty decently overall. I was nervous because all i could find before were clear plastic zip-up bags that were too short. This one is great for my dress and I am very glad I was able to find it. I would recommend it to any girl who has a wedding dress that needs a bag, but just as long as her dress doesn't have a very full body or an exceptionally long/full train. Hope this helps!

It also fits the large hanger the robe hangs on better than the old bag did
I had a plastic garment bag for my clergy robes. It came with the robe when I bought it. After nine years the plastic tore along the zipper. I appreciate that this is nylon, has straps so I can carry it easily--I do mostly supply preaching so I have to carry it everywhere I go. It also fits the large hanger the robe hangs on better than the old bag did. I am very happy with my purchase.
