I have fine, thin, wavy hair (type 2a I guess) which gets limp and overwhelmed by most products. I also don't like any kind of fragrance. This product doesn't weigh my hair down at all, holds waves nicely, and doesn't smell like anything. It's got a very soft hold--don't expect anything to stay in place--so if you want a light, natural hold, this works well. Personally I put a small amount on my palms (maybe a quarter-size) and wipe it lightly over towel-dried/damp (not wet) hair, from mid-shaft on down. I then scrunch it in, let it air-dry (blow-drying makes my hair go straight), and run my fingers through it once it's dry to break up minor crunch. It brings out waves, works all day, and looks good the next too. A little goes a long way, so it's a reasonable price. It's neither conditioning nor drying.I find the selection of products from Jessicurl ans the differences between them to be a little confusing, so I ordered samples of several different ones. Each worked differently than expected, so I recommend trying this approach.

This stuff works wonders on my wavy, sometimes puffy and frizzy hair! No greasy residue and doesn’t leave a crunchy feeling if you lightly separate after hair is dry.

Nice fragrance free product. Use when I want more of a relaxed curl/ wave. Makes my hair soft.

I have used Jessicurl products for years and have been SO MUCH happier with my hair because of it - the conditioner, Confident Coils, and Rocking Ringlets. Every so often I get lazy and don't use Confident Coils after my shower, but then I'm quickly reminded of how well it works. With it, I am woman with nice looking hair that has curl and isn't out of control. Without it, I have floofy hair that has a mind of its own. I highly recommend it if you have curls, waves, or a combo of both.

I love this. It is the best cream I have found for limiting frizz whether I am blow drying my hair straight or letting it air dry and go curly. I have allergies to a lot of ingredients used in products like this. The biggest allergy is to fragrance whether "a scent" or "a masking fragrance". Both are fragrances and I LOVE that I can order this cream in a no fragrance version!!! I'm also thrilled that no of the other ingredients seem to make me itch! Please, Jessi Curl, do not change a thing. This is perfect!!!

I’ve been experimenting with curly hair products after my favorite line got too expensive for my budget. This was highly recommended and I wanted to love it so badly, but if I’m being honest it just didn’t work for me. I tried using it multiple ways and combining it with gels for extra hold, but it didn’t do what I expected it. Admittedly, my hair was really soft because of it, but I’d have bad frizz by the end of the day and my curls didn’t have much definition. I have 2C and 3A curls so maybe it just wasn’t mean for those types of curls.

First of all I LOVE Jessicurl products! Don’t let this review sway you from purchasing their products. Just go through their store and not Wiki Deals!I was unaware that this purchase was made through Wiki Deals…never again!I ordered Confident Coils in March 2021but was sent the wrong product. I had to return what was sent and a replacement was received.The product doesn’t expire until 2023 but had to be thrown away last week because it turned rancid and smelled horrible.I reached out to Jessicurl but since I purchased it through Amazon and Wiki Deals, I’m having to deal with it through Amazon.I complained to Wiki Deals on Thursday, Oct 21 and i sent a photo of the lot# and expiration date from the bottom of the bottle but I have yet to hear back.I need a replacement product!From now on, I will be going through the Jessicurl Storefront.

For those of you who are Chemically Sensitive or Intolerant, this may NOT be the product for you!I used this product only once after an evening shower, I used a small amount of Jessiecurl Confident Curl on my just-washed hair and immediately got a gigantic headache. The headache that feels like a metal halo is tightening around my head, the base of my skull is pounding and pain is shooting down into my neck -- BTW, this is what I call my "movie theatre" headache (because, on those rare occasions when I choose to go to a movie). I turned on the water and jumped back into the shower to wash it out if my hair. I washed my hair twice.The thing is, it just didn't wash out of my hair. As my hair dried, I realized the headache -- though not as bad -- was still there, as well as a peculiar SMELL! I got back into the shower, two more washings and a rinse with Apple cider vinegar.I still smelled it and felt it. First thing the next morning, back into the shower again. This time THREE washes, conditioner and Apple cider vinegar left on the hair. It was FINALLY GONE!ITo be clear, there is NO PARFUM/FRAGRANCE listed on the ingredients! But, there appears to be an ingredient IN one of the other ingredients that has the SAME QUALITIES that are contained in parfum/fragrance -- linger, ATTACH and HOLD.As someone with increasing toxicant induced loss of tolerance, I can only speak to the claim of fragrance free. I can't really speak to the effectiveness of the product as I was unable to leave it on my hair. My bottle of Jessiecurl is sitting in a box headed to Goodwill, I don't want to give it to anyone i know as I do not wish to smell it ever again.
