Will the SFP+ cages work with 10gb ethernet?

Yes, they will. However, the switch has been shipping from MikroTik with firmware that is somewhat borked. You’ll have to check in with the support forums to locate the Release Candidate firmware revisions where this works properly. I bought 10Gb copper SFP+ modules and with the updated firmware they are working great

Does this come with ears for rack mounting?

It is 1/2 rack wide and does come with ear/blank ear.
