An honest review
At the time of writing this review, there are only a handful of one-line reviews on this beer dispenser. I looked at the other options - the SUB (ÂŁ99), the Phillips one (ÂŁ450) and this.Ultimately I decided the SUB wasn't ideal because you're incredibly restricted in what beer you can buy, and there aren't many options. The Phillips I didn't really consider because it costs ÂŁ450 which is too much for me.I ended up opting for the Baridi because it can take any 5L keg from the supermarket or online. I wanted to be able to drink ales as well as lagers (and possibly ciders) and be able to choose the temperature; you can set between 2C and 12C.The product itself is okay, if you're happy to take the time to read the (basic) manual and use your common sense. The negatives:Changing the beer keg is a pain. You lose a bit of beer every time. There's a learning curve and the first few times there will be a lot of swearing. Plus, changing the beer keg involves pulling out a little big of plastic and a tiny screw. They don't give you any spares here, I know I will lose them both before long. Hopefully Baridi can provide me with some spares. (Note that they do give you a few other spares like rubber rings etc).Chill time. If you drink lager you'll want to get the temp down to 4C or so. This can take a few hours, but a bit of common sense i.e. keeping the keg in a cold place beforehand makes a lot of difference.I suspect this will be something I use on special occasions rather than every day, but that's good as I don't want to end up an alchy. The Positives:5L kegs are available from many companies and supermarkets, you aren't tied to in like with the SUB. Cost can be as low as ÂŁ1.50 a pint.Price - not too expensive compared to others.CO2 canister holder. I know this sounds silly but I hate using CO2 canisters, they often backfire if not screwed on quickly and get really cold. With this , it comes with a plastic holder which prevents that.FINALLY. As for the beer, it tastes great. You can adjust the amount of head you want, by adjusting the pressure setting. You can also choose how cool you want it. I drink IPAs and 'real' ale rather than lager and wanted to be able to set that at 7C or so.Quite an expensive toy, but overall I think it's worth it, especially for barbecues etc. Just be prepared to keep faffing around with it!

Great party accessory
Great item excellent value for money.Beer quality:Depends on what you buyEase of setup:One big setback the instructions aren’t very clear. C02 settingMust be set just above minimum when installing cylinder otherwise it doesn’t work and you risk splitting the washer.Ease of use:Recommend using fridge water ( colder the better) for the setup

AVOID!!!!
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! Absolute sham of a service from Dellonda!!! I wish there was an option of minus stars! The unit I purchased did not work correctly, followed the instructions carefully but it just ruined a beer keg & one of the canisters. Item was packed back up & sent back (At a cost of £13.50 to me) Without any options, after about 10 days, I was told that I would be refunded half the cost of the unit back as it was my fault it did not work?!?!?! After many emails to & fro I was informed that the unit was in working order but because of the smell of stale beer they “Scrapped” the unit! I repeatedly refused the refund they offered & requested my own unit that I paid £169.98 for was returned to me so I could have it checked over independently. This was refused. Apparently when I sent the faulty unit back it became THEIR unit?!?!?! I then asked for their proof that the item sent back was in a poor state like they suggested, as I know that it was packed back up within 30 mins of trying it, & other than the missing broken canister it was the same as I received. They supplied me with (Tiny thumbnail) pictures of parts of a unit taken in their workshop!! A unit that was disassembled! Which could have been from any unit! PAUL B the “Customer Service” office “manager” is the most unprofessional customer service representative I have EVER come across! After lots of repetitive & (In my opinion) smug messages from him I asked for the details of his manager so I could discuss his attitude towards me, he refused to give me these details & said he was the manager so it would go through him! I actually had to laugh at this man’s arrogance! So to make a complaint about him, I have to go through him … Surely this tells you all you need to know about them! Please avoid! I know some reviews here say how great it is but like me, you may be one of the unlucky ones & end up with a dud unit & only half your money back offered! It’s worth spending just that little bit more & getting a Phillips one! Which I promptly did & it’s working great. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! AVOID! I am not letting this matter drop, my complaints about Paul will be seen by his superior eventually, I just need to find them! I have left a review on TrustPilot too, something I never normally do to be honest, but I’m so outraged with this company’s attitude towards me I felt I needed to share. I looked through their Facebook page (Search Dellonda) & wish I had looked there before buying! Lots of bad reviews with products & service!

Works fine but take care with the CO2 bulbs.
I make my own and fill 5 litre kegs and had a pretty crappy contraption that dispensed the contents Ok but it broke after a few kegs so I bought this to replace it.Took a bit of faffing around to work out why it didn't work but after a few wasted CO2 bulbs (no wasted beer thankfully) I realised the gas wasn't coming through because I hadn't pushed the fitting down far enough into the keg, so my fault. I also destroyed the two spare O rings in the bulb piercing process as well.Once worked out it delivers perfectly carbonated booze as low as 3°C, what more could you want? Crisps maybe.

Avoid, Just use the kegs as dispensers
1. The Pauliner kegs that can be bought with it cannot be used in this machine 🤔2. Used 3 times then refused to pierce and when taking it back out freezing gas leak, replaced the piercing tool used once then it refused to pierce and again it leaked when removing. What a ridiculous invention. The piercing tool and ring are so tiny and flimsy that putting it in place is a job in itself. I would add if rectified everything else was okay but it is the most important area of the machine . All in all a lot of money I may as well thrown in the bin

Difficult to set up
Not brilliant had to buy spare washers and pins which were expensive, didn’t work very well from the offset and had lots of problems .
