This is the one you want! - I looked around for weeks trying to find a good blanket! I need it for my yoga class so I was not trying to order a crappy one and then have to waste time sending it back! I got a lot of mixed reviews and many other companies seemed to weave theirs very loosely. There were a few mixed reviews on this product as well but it was the best I could find so I gave it a shot. It just got here and I am so excited! The color is spot on with the picture. It is tightly woven and I would say true to size (I'm not going to measure it out). It does have a little scent to it and it is a little rough but I'm sure a nice little wash will take care of that. And seeing as how I will be sitting on it most of the time, the texture doesn't matter as much!! If you need a yoga blanket..this is the one to get!! Low price and great quality!! Do it :) namasté Review: Great blanket - Love this blanket! I ordered it to keep in my truck for picnics and my kids sports games. I ordered the purple one and am very pleased with the color! Makes a great picnic blanket, and at the same time is quite warm to have on those cooler baseball game nights. Soft and sturdy. Not too thin and not too thick. I've had it for 3 months now and have washed it several times and it's so far held up great. As soon as the budget allows I'll be ordering another! ## Features - Polyester - Measures approx. 76" x 57" - Hand Made In Mexico, Machine Washable - Made of 50% Acrylic, 40% Polyester, 10% Cotton - Extra Thick / 3.35 lbs. - Soft and warm, and comes in a variety of bright colors ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B006M9B6ZQ | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #803,053 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #1,387 in Yoga Mats | | Blanket Form | Throw Blanket | | Brand | Yoga Direct | | Brand Name | Yoga Direct | | Color | Burgundy | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 479 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Polyester | | Fabric Warmth Description | Heavyweight | | Fill Material | Acrylic, Polyester, Cotton | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00813061006634 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 76"L x 57"W | | Manufacturer | YogaDirect | | Manufacturer Part Number | A242MEXBUR04 | | Material | Cotton, Polyester | | Material Type | Cotton, Polyester | | Model Number | A242MEXBUR04 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Striped | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Recommended Uses For Product | Yoga, Napping, Reading, Camping, Hiking, Travel | | Seasons | Winter | | Size | 76-Inch x 57-Inch | | Sport Type | yoga | | Style | Traditional | | Style Name | Traditional | | Theme | Plain | | UPC | 813061006634 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![YogaDirect Deluxe Mexican Yoga Blanket - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91-cPpfNfxL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best one yet ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Large, Thick, Comfy *by L***S on April 1, 2018* I have dozens of Mexican blankets, but this one is my favorite— no contest. It is large enough to wrap around your whole body (or mine, anyway- I’m 5’3”). It is thicker than most, which makes it great for yoga. I like to fold it up and use it in place of yoga blocks or rollers, but it is thick enough to use as a mat, as well. I purchased the gray pattern and it is beautiful! The blend may be high in acrylic, but it is woven in such a way that it is still very soft. I have not yet tried to wash it, but I would imagine a cold delicate cycle would be best and drying on low or no heat may be a good idea. The blanket comes packaged with a link to care instructions. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/25194094-yogadirect-deluxe-mexican-yoga-blanket](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/25194094-yogadirect-deluxe-mexican-yoga-blanket) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
