It is on a closet shelf, on an outside wall, about 30' up. It is lying flat. This antenna is picking up 55 channels perfectly, from not only the Denver Transmitters to the south, but the Frederick transmitters to the southeast. It is picking up channels 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 12 (from Boulder on 22 15Kw), 14, 20, 25, 31, 38, 41/44 (15Kw), 50, and 59. Without the amplifiers it picked up all these channels, but some were breaking up. With the amplifiers, they all come in perfectly. I suspect, if I could have this outside (HOA issues), I probably could pick up weaker channels. I like the quality of this unit; it is solid. But, the amplifier, with LTE filtering, is a solid and real serious item. It is not one of the cheap in line amplifiers, but it is solidly built. It also has the ability to feed 2 Tvs, if desired. If this can work, with the terrain I have to deal with, it will work just about any where. I have a 6000 foot mesa, and a number of hills, between here and the Denver transmitters. I have gone through numerous antennas over the years, but this one seems to be the most stable. With other 4 bay style antennas I would get some very strong channels and others would be going in and out of blocking. This antenna keeps all channels at full strength or almost full. The remote power injector is well designed and includes a splitter for multiple hookups. It also functions without the amplifier powered, which you don't see in normal amplifiers. Generally when power is removed, the signal stops. This has some sort of internal bypass that allows un-amplified signals to still pass. The mast mount is very strong metal. You can mount vertically or horizontally.
