Outstanding!
To start, please don't kid yourself - this (and others like it) is a shock collar. Calling it a "correction" or "e" collar is just a nice way of making oneself feel better about what you're doing. But for those of you with out of control dogs, dogs you have tried to train through every available method (like we did), AND those who do not take using a shock collar lightly, this is a great product. To explain, our yellow lab is Marley's little sister. Super smart, able to execute multiple commands (when she feels like it), given tons of exercise and proper attention, but bursting at the seams with energy - basically the epitome of ADHD. If she hears you, she obeys. But when there's something interesting distracting her... say, a squirrel on the power line, or kid playing too close to our driveway... all bets are off. Even the trainer we took her to was glad to send her home (and that's saying something, given the dangerous dogs he works with).Anyway, we tried the PetSmart "Big Dog' collar. It worked wonders when she wasn't too distracted (a 5/10 would cause a surprised "yelp"), and was more than enough for our other dogs (on whom a 2/10 was overkill), but when she was in that particular state of mind, even a 10/10 didn't affect her. Not even a twitch. Now not only for correcting bad behavior, but for the dogs (and others) safety, a "shock" collar can be a very useful tool. Should she start to run into the street, or decide she wants to jump on one's 70-year-old grandmother, for example, being able to get her attention is priceless. And this collar delivers. Obviously it is our hope that we can decrease its use gradually over time, but for now, it's a godsend. Already just wearing it causes her to tone it down a notch (I told you she was smart...).All in all, we highly recommend this if you are in the market for a shock collar.*On a side note, our trainer didn't recommend this type of collars lightly, but did admit that in rare instances (i.e. where a dog is so aggressive as to be a danger to others), this type of collar can be a way to effectively retrain him out of that aggressive state of mind, in effect becoming a potentially life-saving tool. Our dog wasn't dangerous in this way, but we still found it to be incredibly helpful.

Solid Traing Collar
I’ve been using the DT Systems Micro iDT PLUS e-collar for a few days now, and overall, I’m really impressed with its performance. The collar is lightweight, compact, and seems very durable, even in challenging conditions. The 900-yard range is fantastic for outdoor training, and the MAXX-Range 360 technology ensures I don’t lose signal, no matter where I am.I really appreciate the 16 levels of adjustable stimulation, which makes it easy to tailor the collar to my dog’s temperament. The Gentle Touch system is a nice feature, offering milder stimulation and even a vibration option for a more humane training approach. It’s also great that the collar is waterproof, which gives me peace of mind during wet weather. The design is sleek, and I like that the collar fits a wide range of dog sizes (from 6" to 22"), making it versatile for different breeds. The automatic shut-off after 8 seconds is a smart safety feature that prevents accidental over-stimulation.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the add-on collars for expanding to multiple dogs are sold separately, which adds to the overall cost. However, for the price and features, it’s a solid choice for any dog owner looking for a reliable training tool.Overall, the DT Systems Micro iDT PLUS is an excellent e-collar that offers great value for the money, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great Collar
Great collar for the value. Works well distance-wise, is a bit cumbersome on the dog, but he didn't seem to mind until he misbehaved. You can adjust the 'shock value' appropriately. The vibrate function is handy. So far, the collar has held up nicely; however, the charger did not. Somehow, it was picked up with food, and we found it later in the bottom of the cooler in 2" of water. Tried the hair dryer method, the rice method, to no avail. Am now trying to find a replacement charger. Be aware the male connector to the collar is small, and hard to match with any other charger. I'll try to update with respect to availability of replacement charger.

A Must Have For Training
I had purchased another electronic training collar prior to this one. I was trying to save money & didn't want to invest a lot into it. Well the old adage "You get what you pay for.." well it lasted 2 weeks & quit working. Ended up talking to several folks that do a lot of dog training & decided on DT. Very very satisfied. It just plain works....feels solid, easy to use. It's transformed & accelerated our training program for our new lab rescue. There's a lot of options out there but for the money you can't beat this one. My wife bless her heart won't use it, but when our dog gets too rambuctious in the house, she just gets the collar & transmitter out of the drawer & simply shows it to our dog & sets it down on the counter. That's all it takes to get her attention. This past weekend I was training our dog off leash with just this collar on her. She was doing very well until she saw a squirrel about 40 yards away. She broke at a full gait. She ignored my voice commands twice. I hit the 'Cont' button and she stopped immediately and ran full gait directly to me & heeled. This just plan works & has made my training so much better. Good quality product.
