Broadlink - RM4 Universal Smart Home Remote Control

Very happy with the purchase, everything is great, the price, the size & works just fine to replace all your remote controls and turning your devices to smart ones. The IR signal is strong in the “mini” and it is working great. Highly recommend!

I have a Panasonic Android TV, which was not listed in the app, no problem, as the remote should learn the commands and I'd be on my way, well that didn't work, reading through many forums, I turned off the remote lock (which was set as default) despite the app leading me to learning screen. Well no problem, I tried again and app receives the IR command, but then gets stuck loading and needs to be restarted. An hour later of tinkering and restarting the app I was able to get the remote to learn all the commands. In this day and age, you'd expect better software and user experience.

I would highly recommend getting one for each room if you live in a country like the UAE. It works with any air conditioner as long as it has a remote control and the best part is that you can turn your AC on remotely. Often when I'm out I would make sure I turn my AC 30 minutes before I come home. It also works well with Alexa and Google home if you use any of those smart home solutions

This device is good it recognize many remote controlled devices ( tv, AC, DVD players and others) you can use your mobile to control them all. The biggest 2 disappointments are 1- not easy to set it up initially or if you reset. 2- it doesnt give the status of the device if you are away ( you can not tell of you TV is on or off) so it's not reliable if you are an obsessive person and wanna double check the status of your devices while you are away.

My gete key remote was getting old and I thought I'll give this device a try, and with simple RF learning of old remote now I have access to the gate anywhere any time from my mobile. In addition to RF devices this can also be used for IR remotes with large remote database available + IR learning. Wonderful

Our house has a rather dumb airco system. Using the RM4, and the separate temperature and humidity sensor, we can automate it all via the App. It is nice to see that this unit doesn't require a separate smart hub. Recommended!

We bought a sensibo and one of these to compare. The out-of-box experience with the Sensibo was MUCH better. But after a month of use, these BroadLink devices are far more useful in a so-called "smart home" environment. We were able to leverage HomeBridge, to make our multi-head mini-split heat pumps (three pumps, 6 heads) work as a single unit (or as zoned units) to heat and cool our home. "Siri cool upstairs" or "Siri warm upstairs" and all the units just work. It does take some time to feed the remote settings into the RM4 mini, and it requires a bunch of JSON configuration parameters (so not for the less-technical), but it works and it works well. Also, when you compare the price of other units, I'll take the $35 and the ability to use a local-only connection thank you.

المنتج جدا رائع لكن ابواب الجراج الرول مثل الموسى مالقيت ترددها اذا احد قدر يفتح الجراج الرول يعلمنا عندي ٣ ابواب لكن مش رول كلها فتحها . باقي الاجهزة اللي تعمل على IR فعال جدا معها .

Evinde yaklaşık 10 adet BroadLink ürünü var. Belki de benim hatam, net belirtilmemiş ancak ürün sadece IR kod ile çalışıyor. Yani evinizdeki panjuru bu ürünle kontrol edemezsiniz, sadece markalı bir TV, Klima veya ses sistemi gibi ürünleri kontrol edebilirsiniz. Panjur, Garaj kapısı veya diğer RF çalışan ürünler için PRO versiyonunu almanız gekekiyor. Malesef kutusunu da attığım için ürünü ne iade edebiliyorum ne de kullanabiliyorum. Yeniden PRO versiyonu almam gerekecek.
