It is Lutron's proprietary Clear Connect RF Technology system. **Q: Can I use one remote to control two dimmers independently, that is turn one light on while leaving the other off?** A: If the PJ2-3BRL-GWH-L01 is programmed to two different dimmers, it will control them both simultaneously. This device can not be used to control two different dimmers independently, two different remotes would need to be used. **Q: I don’t think this has been answered yet but can you make this a 4 way by using 1 Caseta switch wired to the light and 2 remotes?** A: Yes, for a 4-way application, you could use one Caseta Wireless dimmer (model: PD-6WCL or PD-5NE) and 2 Pico Wireless remotes. Please see the Caseta Wireless Advanced Installation Guide for more information: https://www.casetawireless.com/Documents/0301710a_Caseta%20Advanced%20Inst.pdf **Q: Did someone tried it with a belkin switch?** A: This device uses a patented RF technology called Clear Connect that is not compatible with Belkin switches. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent with Apple HomeKit and the power company *by on Reviewed in the United States 31 December 2025* I use the Lutron Castea system in conjunction with Apple HomeKit. They integrate seamlessly and easily while the combination allows a multitude of features. In addition, the Casseta Homebase network frees-up bandwidth on the 2.4Ghz band of my WiFi mesh network that would otherwise be taken-up by smart switches from any of the other vendors such as Kasa. Our four-story 3000sq.ft. townhouse functions nicely with a single Homebase connected via Ethernet to a Deco mesh node on the second floor. At first, I glossed over such features as adding remote switches and programming scenes via the Caseta app. Now I find they add tremendously to my home. For example, I have a Pico on the dining room table that adjusts all the lighting in and near the dining room for an evening meal with one touch. Same for the home theater; same for our primary bedroom at bedtime.I added a pico in the hallway using just a double gang faceplate on an existing single gang switch without any wiring at all. Now I can initiate the primary bedroom evening lighting scene - or turn on all the bedroom lights full strength - before I enter the room. There is even a pico with a built-in nightlight. If you have outdoor temporary lights, perhaps for the holidays, there are weatherproof outdoor switches you can program. All our permanent outdoor lighting is on the Caseta network for security and, of course, you can program switches for when a room is occupied via HomeKit.We also use the system for electrostatic air cleaners that help to keep our home dust and allergen free, turning them off when people are around and running them in vacant areas at night and when no one is home.As a bonus, energy bills have diminished a bit despite living in data center land. Take that AI. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good solution to wirelessly control your Lutron lighting *by on Reviewed in Canada 13 November 2020* I affixed this little remote next to my bed, and can now easily turn the lights on/off, or dim them. The remote does not have to be pointing at the light switch in order to work, which is a great plus. You can also set your default lighting intensity using the middle button. Nice design and good functionality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lutron es excelente calidad *by on Reviewed in Mexico 11 March 2019* producto con un precio excelente ademas que nos ayuda a poder controlar de manera remota sus accesorios de la marca desde un pedestal, una visera del auto o montados como un apagador de pared sin necesidad de cablear ## Frequently Bought Together - Lutron Pico Remote for Caseta Smart Dimmer Switch, 3-Button Control with Raise/Lower and Preset Lighting Level, For Table Top or Wallmount Use, PJ2-3BRL-WH-L01R, White - Lutron Caseta Smart Lighting Wall Plate Bracket for Pico Smart Remote(Pico Sold Separately), Directly Mount Pico Remote To The Wall, 3-Way (No Wires Required), PICO-WBX-ADAPT - Lutron Caseta Original Smart Dimmer Switch (Lutron Smart Hub Required), for LED Lights, 150 Watt, Single-Pole/3-Way, No Neutral Required, PD-6WCL-WH, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/253327529-lutron-caseta-smart-lighting-pico-remote-for-wireless-light-bulbs](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/253327529-lutron-caseta-smart-lighting-pico-remote-for-wireless-light-bulbs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
