if the glass protector is cracked how do you best remove and replace?

if it does shatter, which it can and may not come in one piece. Gently pull up one of the in tact corners enough to get a credit card or better yet a used gift card and slide under the glass and slide between the device glass and the temper glass for the entire surface area. Much like using an ice scraper on your windshield, but gently. Easy Easy. Clean off the device glass and then install another temper glass, preferably in a dust free environment. Work like a charm everytime
