hard to count but i'd say more than 15

The picture says "ghee" but the box says "refined palmolein oil" and "hydrogenated vegetable oil." which is true?

I’ve enjoyed a LOT of this soan papdi - it’s the best! All I’ve ever bought is the ghee version. I think they might make some which is for vegetarians, so they don’t use ghee there. Check the item description.

How many pieces in the box?

i don't know the exact count but the box is completely full with the product. no empty space at all. i ordered it as a sweet dish for office party and it was adequate to a team of 7-8 people. my guess is it will have about 10-15 square pieces. Hope this helps
