How do these compare to the MozArt  Komorebi Japanese Watercolor?

I got the 36 palette and the smaller shimmer set (6) and I will say, these are stunning. Don’t know about the compared set, but these pans are going to last for a long time, even with watercoloring everyday. I don’t watercolor as often as I did at first, but I have only replaced a few pans. Google this set and find where you can buy individual refills. Amazon doesn’t like competition or I’d put the company name, but then they might not publish this response. See if you can buy refills for the other set, if not, grab this one and google refills for it, it’s in the US.

Question 2

Are these opaque enough so you can "go light over dark" with them? In other words, can they work a little like guache?

Relatively new to water color painting ..can anyone tell me what the name/type of paint brush that appears in the short video ? It looks water filled?

Is the paint permanent after they dry (on paper) or can they be reworked?

I have layered with no obvious color pickup from the wash underneath, but the wash was was completely dry.  The colors are vibrant and on linen watercolor paper, there is a nice sheen, not distracting, I have read that is to be expected when using watercolor paints with honey as a component.  The more I use this brand of pan paints the more I like them. I hope that I will be able to purchas the individual pans when they need replacing. I have not been disappointed. I use a ceramic plate to mix the colors. When using a plastic pallet the color beads up. I don't know if this is normal for I am just a beginner.  Best wishes on your watercolor art journey.
