I have intentions of painting our stove but the products for that don't come in high gloss as this does** A: Rustoleum makes a product called "Appliance Epoxy." I've used it for years on everything from the side of a refrigerator to race car parts. It dries to a rock hard shiny finish and is practically indestructible. That's going to be what you'll need. **Q: Does this have to heat up in order to cure? or can it be sprayed and then withstand up to 500' temps?using inside headlight housing:projector retrofit** A: You will need to let the paint fully cure before heating for the best durability, subjecting the paint to heat before it cures can lead to bubbling and/or flaking. **Q: how well would this product work painting my car dis brake calipers?** A: I think this paint would work good on the calipers, clean them real good and get the free of rust, and then put a primer on them. This paint works great on a lot projects. It is a little slow drying, but seems to very durable. **Q: Does the clear enamel have a gloss to it** A: Yes for hgheat engine clear it has a nice clear when the directions are followed ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by O***A on 17 November 2024* Good ### ⭐ does not keep up with reputation *by M***I on 1 March 2023* followed the instructions letter by letter yet I'd did terribly and not heat resistant at all made it even more hotter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ منتج اصلي *by A***N on 27 April 2024* ممتاز كل المواصفات مظبوطه كما قال الكتاب ## Frequently Bought Together - Rust-Oleum 248932 Engine Enamel Spray Paint, 12 oz, Gloss Black - Rust-Oleum 249322 Automotive Self Etching Primer Spray, 12 oz, Matte Dark Green - Rust-Oleum 248658 Stops Rust Reformer Spray Paint, 10.25 oz, Matte Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/254261623-rust-oleum-248932-gloss-black-12-oz-automotive-engine-enamel](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/254261623-rust-oleum-248932-gloss-black-12-oz-automotive-engine-enamel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
