Excellent head tracking in flight sims
This thing is great. Tracking is extremely smooth. The 120fps infrared cam works great. The software works quite well and is great for adjusting sensitivity, dead zones, etc. A smidge expensive for what you get, but it's definitely the best head tracking setup I've tested by far.

Way better than VR!
Why, oh why did I not buy one of these like 20 years ago. WAY better than using VR. LOADS better. VR has not kept up with current tech. This solves all of the VR problems.

Works well but is it worth the price?
I just want to start off by saying the product works great and my star rating is based on that despite my issues with the product. The information is simply for whoever reads this to make an informed decision on what is best for them and hopefully save themselves some time and money in the process. The good: It works great for what I intended to use it for, DCS world flight sim and Elite Dangerous. If you are considering this for Microsoft Flight Sim I would expect it to do the same. The reflectors that snap on the hat work great which was my intended use because I despise hot ears from wearing headphones. I purchased this bundle just in case one tracking device worked better than the other...The bad: The hat clip and reflectors should have been the solution for me, when it worked it tracked perfectly. Unfortunately I wear glasses, so every 5-10 minutes the infrared light would bounce off my glasses causing major tracking issues. This meant I had to use the powered Pro Clip. Fortunately I had the foresight to buy this bundle and have both options right? Well yes and no.The second option kept me flying and to be fair the powered pro clip tracks really well but, sadly the Clip part feels cheaply made and it feels like its going to break even the first time you "secure" it to your headphones. This makes adjusting the clip position a little nerve-racking because it never really gives you that snap feeling like its secured or even working properly. If you are using the Pro Clip I suggest securing it to the intended position and never remove it again. Also the wire is super annoying when I am dogfighting as it gets hung up in shoulder or neck or armpit. Add to that the fact that I had to wear headphones that overheat my ears (and deal with another cable) and I knew I needed to find a better solution. The solution: I kept the camera/software but sold the pro clip before it had a chance to break and got a wireless clip that tracks using a AA Battery. It came with a little headband too. I am so glad I did this! It tracks great and I am both hat and headset free. I got the clip from Grass Monkey Solutions I think he sells cameras to. Oh, also, I use a standalone mic on my desktop for DCS radio transmission if you are wondering how I fly without headphones. Conclusion: If you don't wear glasses, purchase this with the hat clip reflectors only. Alternatively look at other solutions out there. This bundle just seems overpriced because the low quality of the Pro Clip. Also TrackIR doesn't support many games, check the list on their website it's pretty sad how few games work with it out of the box.So make sure the TrackIR solution is what you want because there are 4 other companies I can think of off the top of my head that sell both a wireless tracking clip solution and a Tracking camera for less money than this bundle. There are also other Tracking software's out there that are free I was just looking for something that work straight out of the box for DCS with minimal setup and I was being lazy. In hindsight I ended up doing the work finding the right solution and it cost me more time and money than just doing the research initially.

Great Support From Both Natural Point And KBI/Ergo Warehouse
The TrackIR is a product that performs well for me. I use it to play DCS World and Microsoft Flight Simulator and while the setup's learning curve is a bitsteep, there's a lot of help on YouTube. A little perseverance will pay off.I did have a problem with the included TrackClipPro. It quit working but I was able to use the normal hat mounted clip with no issue. I created a trouble ticket with Natural Point (the manufacturer) that was responded to very quickly. Once they determined that it was defective, they told me to contact the seller on Amazon.I did just that and in 3 days, and two emails, I had my replacement. Great Support!!TrackIR has almost no serious competitors so, while it's a little spendy, it works as advertised and makes my gaming a whole lot more immersive. That and my excellent support experience makes recommending this thing a no-brainer.

Turning my head has seriously never excited me like this
There are no two ways about it: I could never fly the same again without headtracking. Elite: Dangerous, DCS World, Rise of Flight and Arma 3, the games I purchased this equipment for, all recognized it immediately with no input from me. And there is no lag whatsoever when I turn my head to check a cockpit warning light, or look down to see what my fuel pressure is at, or examine my cargo holdings... It took a few minutes to acclimate to a turn of 15 degrees of my head translating to a turn of 50 degrees on screen but it becomes quite easy to glance at exactly what you want with barely a few hours of practice. And let's talk about being able to lean out over the side of the cockpit of a Sopwith Dolphin biplane roaring 20 meters over the ground to check that your two released 20lb bombs had an effect on your intended target: You will never be able to go back to a POV hatswitch after the feeling that that gives you. The depth that this brings to flight simming cannot be overstated; the only thing I see challenging this would be full VR and I frankly did not want to invest that much in rather unproven tech yet.The Pro Clip is poorly manufactured, and has a terrible design, but if/when it breaks I will just fabricate my own fastener; a first-year engineering student could have done better than this tripe so I'd wager I can whip something up without starting WW3. Truly, the Pro Clip's design is the weakest point of this whole package. It will not fit all headsets, and is counter-intuitive to properly fit to even regular headsets with thin metal bands. I recommend checking whatever you plan to affix the Pro Clip to for compatibility before ordering it unless you don't mind having to work at it. However, once the Pro Clip is in place: magic. I game at night when my daughter is asleep; so the IR emitters the Clip brings to the table are great since I cannot use the regular reflector design as well. The Pro Clip is definitely questionable; but since you can get this bundle for just about $10USD more than the regular TrackIR 5 and I can work with it I won't complain too loudly - your results may vary. I could easily see someone with less delicate installation methods breaking the Clip before ever even getting to use it, and that would be a no-go.Drivers were a breeze to install, and the program comes "out of the box" with a default setting I have not needed to tweak or mess with whatsoever. Seriously, from when this arrived to when I was excitedly calling my wife over to watch me turn my digital head was under 20 minutes. I tried FreeTrack, FaceTrackNoIR, and several others and they all required more setup and work than I wanted to engage in, especially for the dubious results I was getting. TrackIR has won me a customer and I will recommend the TrackIR 5 to anyone I fly with.Try it. You will never want to fly without it, and if you use it with Arma 3 or DayZ you'll wish every single FPS ever made supported this thing. I know I do.
