Right off the bat, the build quality impressed me; the mounts feel robust and durable, ready to withstand the rigorous demands of action videography. The magnetic mounting system is a stroke of genius. It's incredibly convenient and secure, allowing for lightning-fast swaps between mounts without fumbling with clasps or screws. I was initially skeptical about the strength of the magnets, but they've proven to hold the GoPro steadfastly even during high-intensity activities like mountain biking and surfing. One of the standout features has to be the versatility of the Snap Mounts Pro. The array of accessories that come with it, such as the strap mount, tripod mount, and the adhesive mounts, mean that I can attach my GoPro to virtually anything – from helmets and handlebars to cars and kayaks. The ease with which I can switch perspectives has genuinely transformed the way I capture footage, offering me angles and shots I couldn't have managed as seamlessly before. The Snap Mounts Pro also includes a safety tether, which gives that extra peace of mind, knowing my GoPro won't take a dive even if it somehow detaches from the mount. For anyone who's ever lost a camera to the depths of the ocean or the wilderness, this feature alone is worth its weight in gold. Battery life can be a concern with GoPro cameras, but the Snap Mounts Pro design includes a simple solution for this too. The quick-release mechanism means I don't have to miss a moment of the action; I can swap out batteries or memory cards in a snap – literally. In conclusion, the Snap Mounts Pro is a must-have accessory for GoPro users. Whether you're a professional content creator or an enthusiast looking to capture your escapades with ease and versatility, this product delivers on all fronts. It's transformed my filming experience, allowing me to focus more on the adventure itself rather than the logistics of capturing it. A solid 5 out of 5 stars from me! Review: Perfect for all my needs - I just assumed that I would not be using this system on my bike. I'd read the reviews and horror stories from a few people about their camera falling off and just planned to use this with the lanyard and my tripod mount. I was not looking forward to having to re-mount the camera every time I used it on my bike but hey, everything can't be easy. But those negative reviews didn't read the instructions. Included is a very handy locking mount for a bike or anything where you are really putting stress on the mount. You simply use the mount that goes on at a 45 degree angle and twist it and it locks on. No chance of the magnet failing when you hit a bump because it is physically locked together. So this is better than I expected. I doubt I'll ever need any additional mounts and if I ever do, I'll buy another batch of these. I can now attach my GoPro mini 11 to the lanyard, to my mount and to my bike and I couldn't be happier. Not shown (maybe a new addition) in the item list is a rubberized gasket so that if you do want to attach it to something metal (like your car) you can use the gasket and not worry about scratching the surface. Extremely well thought out product that I cannot recommend enough. I was so tired of using the thumbscrew every time I wanted to move my camera to a mount and this fixes that problem perfectly. ## Features - COMPATIBILITY and EASE OF USE: The SNAP Mount is compatible with all GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, and 3 prong quick release attachment cameras. No tools are required just SNAP and Go! Perfect for skiing, snorkeling or any other extreme sport. Use either the Adatper and Locking Adpater on your drone, helmet, selfie stick or any other platform. We love the camera; however, we were not as enthralled by the mounting options. After viewing several YouTube videos about this system we bought it and can say the positive reviews are accurate. However, there is a caveat: If you have a GoPro 9 or 10 and want to use the Media Mod, be advised this stock base will not completely work. There are two "fins", one on either side of the rear mount that do not allow the Media Mod to fit securely. One "fin" also blocks the rear cable connections. One YouTube video showed a user cutting them off with a Dremel-type tool and we were about to go that route when my wife found a new model of the Snap Mount base without the "fins" on the Snap Mount website. (We have yet to find it on Amazon, perhaps because it's a new product.) That new model works fine with the Media Mod and if you want to use it, I highly recommend you purchase one from Snap Mount. All that aside, the Snap Mount is extremely secure and well-built. The magnets are quite powerful (watch your fingers), and we can quickly switch from a chest mount (without the attractive harness) to a full-size tripod with a 1/4"-20 adapter or a selfie extension rod. Highly recommended. ## Frequently Bought Together - SNAP Mounts PRO – Magnetic Action Camera Helmet Mount for GoPro (Helmet, Biking, Drone, Skiing, Snorkeling and Car Mount) - SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - Up to 190MB/s, C10, U3, V30, 4K, 5K, A2, Micro SD Card - SDSQXAV-256G-GN6MA - GoPro HERO13 Black - Waterproof Action Camera with 5.3K60 Video, 27MP Photo + Compatability with HB-Series Lenses --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/254470316-snap-mounts-pro-magnetic-action-camera-chest-mount-for-gopro](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/254470316-snap-mounts-pro-magnetic-action-camera-chest-mount-for-gopro) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
