I’m a solid 10 with a somewhat wide shoe and got them in 10. They rubbed a little bit on my ankle on the first day, and that was it. Easy to put on and off, thanks to the side loops. From my previous experience they age up beautifully, and the quality is superb - not a single loose thread. They look adorable and go with everything (I’m a cattle girl at heart, so maybe that’s why I think so). A friend gave me a hard time about them, saying that sneakers are more comfortable, but not to me - I’d rather do anything wearing them, even running, than wearing any other shoe. These boots are tough and comfortable. As with any leather work boot, you must waterproof them yourself. I wear them all the time. **Q: Are these water proof?** A: Not water proof they are leather. But very water resistant. I've been in the rain and stepped in puddles from time to time and have never had wet feet.
