Works well
Works well; I didn’t think they were communicating correctly until I utilized a basic test code. Apparently I had a conflicting pin assignment that made it appear that my packets were not transmitting correctly in my larger code. Changed my pin assignments and voila! Additionally I soldered a 10uf capacitor between VCC and ground. Haven’t tried it without the capacitor yet.

Works well with Arduinos
I use these modules for transmitting/receiving weather data. They work well with Arduinos (e.g., UNO or Nano) and there are many online sources of code for using them. With their on-board antenna they work indoors, perhaps only with the maximum power setting, depending on walls and other obstructions. Outdoors, you will most likely need versions of this device that have an external "duck" antenna. Apparently some sources of these modules don't use "genuine" NRF24L01+ chips, but these appear to be OK. Generally, I have found HiLego to be a reliable source for products like this, including "duck" antenna versions of the NRF24L01+.

Solid basic non-amplified RF boards
Boards work well for Arduino, just be sure to power them properly with 3.3V.

Work perfect!
I've used them to have a raspberry pi's communicate with arduino's. The work great.

Works well but takes TIME to program
There was a ton of online help from Arduino platforms. Cannot communicate with these unless using Arduino. We also had issues communicating back and forth between the controller and the robot that we were driving using this. It worked well but they are very sensitive. We accidentally short circuited parts of our sys a couple times and absolutely fried these soooo if you plan to use these, add a fuse and/or ensure you don't short anything
