Style Edit Root Touch Up Spray, Light Brown, 2 oz

I went prematurely gray and am now almost completely white, so I have been dying my hair for many years. I have a regular salon appointment, but my hair grows very quickly so my white roots show up pretty fast. I've tried several other products, but this is by far the best one. It looks so natural, blends in perfectly and even gives my hair a boost of volume. I love it! Now, there are some tricks to make it work that I've learned and I think some of the negative reviews I've read were due to not applying correctly. You have to spray lightly and then scrub it around quickly and thoroughly with your fingers before it dries. If you spray too much, it gets too dark and thick. Experiment with how much works for you. Lift your hair up in little sections and spray at the roots and scrub as I said each time. Don't try to do big areas all at once, because it will dry and then is difficult to blend it in. I do this when my hair is mostly dry after shampooing and before I use any hair products. Done this way, it lasts until my next shampoo, even if it is a few days, with a little touch up around my face at times. Also, be sure to shake the can very vigorously before using or the color won't come out correctly. The other important thing is to get the right color. My experience has been that it runs a little darker than you think, so I order a shade lighter than my own. Don't give up if the first can is the wrong color for you, this product is definitely worth experimenting with until you find the right color. Hope this helps!!

Goes on nicely to cover the gray hairs coming in at the roots. Color match was pretty accurate for me with the light brown.

I like this product a lot. The only reason I didn’t give it 5⭐️ is because when I’ve used it with mousse or other volumizing products my hair feels dried out and loses some of the shine. It is great for those times between colorings when the roots are starting to show a little too much. It covers well and stays until the next shampoo. I recommend giving it a try. I learned about it from my hairdresser and it is much less expensive buying from Amazon.

Love this product..especially during the quarantine when I could not get to my salon for my color. It touched up my 2 in roots perfectly. It was easy and quick! No message no fuss. It stays put until you wash it out! Will continue to purchase this even after the quarantine is over and I go back to my salon each month. Great to use in between. Definitely recommend it!

I use light brown color and it covers my roots so well for weeks and extends time for haircoloring. No one can ever tell that I have any root spray as it blends perfectly. this saves me money and time at the salon as well as I put less color chemicals onto my scalp which I'm sure are not as good If I would have to color my hair too often due to gray coming out..
